8 Chapter 8

Wen xiaocheng, who has just woken up and ready to serve the emperor saw the mess he made and ask himself 'Why does the emperor smells like vinegar today?'

Out of the blue, a beautiful and charming voice could be heard from outside. That kind of angelic voice could only belong to Consort Guang, Wen Xiaocheng thought before excusing himself as he did not want to be hit against a wall twice in a day.

Dressed in an elegant blue dress, consort Guang welcomed herself in the huge mess with a bowl of chicken soup.

Back at the Empress' palace, Meiyi already heard of the emperor's visit and could guess that he misunderstood her and was a bit scared of being accused of letting the emperor wear a green hat. She walks back and forth in her room, thinking of a way to coax that mighty dragon.

Suddenly, she got a bright idea and went to the kitchen to cook something for the emperor. Even if Meiyi was a noble lady and was mostly home school, she still had to get a university degree and for that, she learnt for one whole year, how to cook with different chefs as she needed to be very careful with food as she had a few problems with digestion in the past.

Meiyi decided to make some ginger milk pudding. She took some gingers and with the help of a small spoon, she peel the ginger's skin off and then, she squeezed the ginger juice out and placed two tablespoon of ginger juice into a bowl.

She then dissolved some sugar in some milk, before heating it for two minutes and pour the heated milk in the bowl. She then cover the ginger milk pudding and set it aside.

Next, Meiyi decided to make some custard buns for later. She prepared the dough and the custard fillings, before changing her clothes and take her ginger milk pudding to the Emperor.

She slowly walked to the Emperor's Study room and as she neared the room, she could hear the voice and laugh of a vixen. She spoke as if she was lying on the emperor's bed, half talking and half moaning, like a duck who was choking and crying at the same time.

Angry by how fast the Emperor could switch to loving another, Meiyi kicked a stone that hit the door, before rushing out of his place. She wanted to throw that bowl of ginger milk soup she prepared, but decided that he was not worth it and she instead took the bowl with her.

On her way back, she met Lin Wangye again and Meiyi decided to give the bowl of pudding to the kind man, who saved her from embarrassment.

But who knew, far away, the Emperor chased after her and saw their 'intimate' exchange!
