99 Stormy weather

I want it to rain

I want it to storm

I want to see clouds rolling up on our shore

The sea is inviting

But I look up to the sky and watch as

Thunder and lightning echoing throughout the night

The wind is howling

Calling us to her attention

Mother nature is calling

You better watch out because she won't give much of a warning

Rumbles of thunder signal over your head

Lightning is touching down

Take shelter fast for you might wind up dead

The waves are crashing off the shore

Higher and higher they roar

don't look down on her as she can bring much more

As the storm is just getting started coming up off the shore

So that tropical storm should be hitting where I live with in the next day or so.

So I may end up losing power again

I've always had infatuation with weather phenomenon but I can't help but question

Does it make me sound sadistic when I say that I wish it was stronger than a tropical storm

I love the howling of the wind, the pouring rain ,thunder echoing inside my brain shaking my house and the foundation it sits on, lightning lighting up my window throughout the night.

It's beautiful

It's powerful

And at times scary

But I can't help but fall in love with it
