131 Election questions

Yay my midterm got delayed because of the election what a great day!

(please note my sarcasm)

But because of the stupid election I now have new questions.

Nebraska and Maine do split votes so the whole state doesn't always go to one party. Do you split votes being a thing during this election if the votes for another way would it have been possible for both of them to get 270? Because according to my map that as possible. So what would they do?

What is the Libertarian party I know like nothing about it. And if there's a libertarian party why do people call Democrats liberals? What did you call people who are part of the Libertarian party liberals instead ?because like it's in the name? How does this make sense?
