"What are you doing?" Bibi Dong questioned Ja Sun's clone, already realizing the strange situation of shared senses between Ja Sun and this particular clone.

"Thinking of an effective insult," Ja Sun whispered. Both he and his clone had the same ponderous expression but he didn't know how to begin? From parents? Beasttakens have a rather distant relationship with their parents. The father is probably dead due to a minor conflict and the mother is also eaten after she gives birth to a beasttaken offspring.

Then siblings? What a joke.

To get an effective insult, one must grasp the opponent's weakness and mentality. Ja Sun needed to think what Ground Devil would even consider an insult.

Ja Sun was quite proud of this one. On point, demeaning, and true to the situation. If spoken in a tavern, he might have even chuckled along with it but right now, Ja Sun's expression darkened as he found no response. Not even applause. Taking a deep breath, he couldn't help but admire Ground Devil. Just a little.

Dai Taiyin and others Ja Sun had met before were easy to provoke so he could always bring his A-game and rip them apart with his tongue. But Ground Devil not only revealed an absolute difference in strength, but he also revealed his mental fortitude, cunning, and experience in battle. Even if a Beartaken, Ground Devil wasn't too different from an actual human. But right now, disregarding everything else, Ground Devil only clung to his advantage.

Ja Sun sighed softly, "It would be a lie if I didn't see this day coming," he whispered, and seeing his kind eyes from the two holes of his mask, Bibi Dong couldn't help but fall in a sudden stupor. Her lips quivered for a moment as he continued, "The truth is... as you may have expected. I sometimes do take out your and Ah Yin's delicates just to try them on and see how they fit. Please excuse my curiosity. I do however love the fabric—"

He hurriedly sidestepped as Bibi Dong pursued with a slap and she huffed and hissed with killing intent in her eyes, "You— What?!"

"It was a joke," Ja Sun heaved a sigh of relief. The last embers of doubt that he had somehow lost his sense of pushing buttons were doused. It wasn't that he, Ja Sun, has lost his way with words, but the opponent is equally fierce and enduring.

"If you..." Bibi Dong's chest heaved and she felt absolutely stunned. Her previous tension regarding her question melted and she grew quiet.

"So? What did you want to ask me?" Ja Sun inquired.

"I wanted to ask if I can trust you," Bibi Dong closed her eyes as she descended from the clouds with only her voice remaining, "You can mock me about asking stupid questions later on. Just don't reveal what I'm about to do to anyone else."

Ja Sun smiled and looked with interest.

Meanwhile, Bibi Dong silently looked at the large domain and a hint of mockery entered her gaze. Her originally soft pink eyes turned into a darker purplish shade before darkening further and turning ink-like. A sense of creeping demise roiled around her, the kind which made Ja Sun amazed at the sight and sensation of it because, for the second time ever, he realized a feeling of connection that he felt from his Three-eyed Silver Lion to Tang Yuehua's Clear Sky Swallow. But this time, this sensation emerged from the back of his right palm.

His Evil Title pulsated as if alive for the second time since Ja Sun awakened this martial soul but no Evil Tiger was summoned. It was extremely thin, but this sensation was connected to Bibi Dong. Ja Sun frowned at this.

More often than not, such a sensation works both ways. Tang Yuehua may not have realized why Ja Sun was interested in her because of her low spirituality, but Bibi Dong is different. She instantly felt the strange connection and her eyelids jumped in surprise. But once again, her gaze turned incomprehensible and she remained quiet. Silently, a viridian green flow of energy, much different from Ja Sun's emerald pupils, moved around Bibi Dong and behind her sprung up a shadow of a modest-looking spider. Unlike most spiders, its body was sleek. Instead of tufts and barbs, this inky green spider seemed to be made of a plate-like structure. Each section of its limbs smooth and sharp. And its head sported glowing green pupils— six of them. Its mouth having two large mandibles at its sides and if looked at carefully, there happened to be extremely thin white veins flowing around its body and condensing over on the spider's head. From these veiny patterns, extreme coldness could be felt as if an individual was thrown into the iciest depths of frozen purgatory.

Ja Sun had long speculated Bibi Dong to be a twin spirit owner like himself. But not only that, Ja Sun had observed the same white vein-like patterns on Tang Hao's clear sky hammer and this observation made him think of one thing common in both Bibi Dong and Tang Hao.

Their strangely metaphysical killing intent which acted as a domain.

If two people of different origins can get such good stuff...

Can I get it, too?

These were his first thoughts.

But what Bibi Dong made Ja Sun dreadfully aware was that her secrets seemed only a shy away from his.

The viridian-plated spider screeched silently and Ja Sun felt his body reeling in shock as both of his martial souls almost revealed their phantom forms, too, in defense, of course. But the strange attack wasn't targeted at him. It was targetted at Ground Devil and it easily passed the restriction of the layer of ground and his domain as the surroundings shook for a moment.

Ja Sun and his clone grew alert. The clone began to absorb energy from the Sigh of Immortal in large amounts and Ja Sun disguised his clone as a tendril of white cloudy mist, making him a part of the cloud and the violet energy moving up and down the clone's hand signifying Heaven's Descent was also hidden away. Meanwhile, Ja Sun focused on Bibi Dong to provide support whenever required. After all, whatever she was doing happened to be working.

The ground continuously shook as if alive. The surface of the domain even began to flicker and finally, a large and menacing paw tore through the ground and clawed against the surface. The ground was pushed up as a small hill and mud slid down, revealing Ground Devil's muddied body as he looked up with a fierce expression. His leathery face was not contorted as if he was going through something painful and even Bibi Dong's lips trembled as she stretched her arms out and aimed her palms towards Ground Devil.

"A 100000-year-old beartaken, huh?" She growled softly, "There's no way I will let go of such a benefit!"

Her eyes momentarily terrified Ground Devil because of one reason. He felt a mental pressure far overbearing than Ja Sun suppressing his giant body for a breath. If Ground Devil had to categorize it, then only one word would ever fit his description...

Divine.

And it was also at this moment in terror that Ground Devil could rationalize Bibi Dong as the greater devil of the two because somehow, her actions were attracting his soul and suppressing his mental and spirit energy. Any longer and he might end up succumbing to the mysterious means.

But this method wasn't without any repercussions. Bibi Dong's skeletal structure quaked within her body and with a piercing sound, her limbs were almost torn apart and blood poured out of self-inflicted wounds in a great stretch.

'Don't let go... don't let go...' Bibi Dong clenched her fists and Ground Devil's body trembled. In the same moment, tears spread from Bibi Dong's knuckles and she felt her entire body turning numb. Her Six Purple Light Wings flickered like waning illusion and her arms fell limply.

"This should be enough," Bibi Dong whispered and tilted her head as Ja Sun flew down next to her and nodded.

"You can get down yourself, right?" He inquired while matching Ground Devil's fierce gaze.

"Who do you think you're talking to?" Bibi Dong scoffed before flying away but her body continuously descended and made a waning arc in the air. Clearly, her situation was a lot worse than she let Ja Sun on. Yet, she did her job.

"Let's see what you can do with an infected soul," Bibi Dong had a short smirk, as devious as Ja Sun and Ground Devil seemed to have realized his situation, too. This was the only reason why he eyes Bibi Dong for a moment before focusing on Ja Sun.

'Swamp Strike,' Ground Devil sighed as the group around him turned damp and stickier than usual, instantly engulfing the corpses around him and waved his hand, removing the Domain.

His body wasn't able to absorb spirit energy. Ground Devil was distinctly aware that this situation was temporary, but he was also well aware of the 'attribute' that got to him. Aside from fear, a moment of greed entered his gaze yet he didn't pursue Bibi Dong. Not without Ja Sun still flying over his head.

Now, every moment counted.

Bringing his paws close to each other, Ground Devil formed a small sphere of energy in between the space of his paws and the image of a large dark-golden bear appeared behind him.

'A... Duskgold Dreadclaw Bear...' Ja Sun narrowed his eyes and pumped his fists against each other, the Vajra Gauntlets letting out a clashing sound as Ja Sun looked at them and smiled, "Even Master praised you guy's quality. And I spent a fortune upgrading you two... time to earn your keep."

The silver glow on his limbs enhanced before all the light collected over his palms.

An enhancement of 280%!

But even then Ja Sun wasn't delusional enough to think that his body was anywhere near a true 100000-year-old Beartaken's quality.

Ja Sun's body flashed momentarily. This wasn't Bright World but the sudden expulsion of spirit energy used as a cover. An illusion instantly appeared behind him like a shadow and Ja Sun shot down with a beat of his wings only making his descent far fierce than Ground Devil had expected.

'Fearless die early! How many of you have I already eaten?!'

Ground Devil clenched his jaw and continued to keep such a position.

The golden sphere began to melt onto his body. His skin began to flicker with golden light and his body expanded once again. By now, he was almost a 5-meter high giant! His fur straightening with golden light in their roots made him look pumped and ready to fight.

The golden phantom behind Ground Devil submerged on him and his aura reached its peak.

"Fucking die already!" He roared and swept his paw from the ground. His claws tearing out chunks of the ground as Ja Sun seemed impervious to the poisonous mist around them. His wrist loosened up and with a grin, his speed increased. Meanwhile, a shadow behind him shot out from the side, and Ground Devil's eyes widened.

His claws instantly swept to the side and pierced Ja Sun's body.

'You got it right the first time,' Ja Sun whispered internally as his charging momentum instantly came to a stop, his Illusion pierced and already fading while his right arm shot in the most sensitive region of the man. Beast or human, it didn't matter.

He had already realized that Ground Devil used some defensive skill but did it matter?

Testicles hurt all the same!

A large body meant a larger target and even if Ja Sun didn't know where to hit exactly, Ground Devil's crotch was actually on the same height as Ja Sun's shoulder.

*Bang*

His palm's glow intensified and with a 560% enhancement, Ja Sun used Gentle Tactics and sent a massive shock wave through Ground Devil's nuts. A lot of the shock force, Ja Sun distinctively felt being absorbed by the defensive technique and Ja Sun moved instantly.

'It's coming,' Though astounded, Ground Devil prepared himself for the pain and instantly let out a torrent of his spirit energy to rid himself of the shock energy while sweeping his arms back as his body turned and attacked Ja Sun's fleeting form.

'Disperse!'

Three of Ja Sun's wings dispersed into feathers instantly, shooting past Ground Devil as Ja Sun tilted his body with his right wings before gliding around Ground Devil.

He controlled the feathers as a distraction and added almost a thousand feathers as an illusion, increasing his mental burden further was the simultaneous activation of his fourth spirit skill under the cover of wings.

'Got you!'

Ground Devil ruthlessly stomped the ground and around the duo, large plates of earth emerged and collapsed on the two of them.

Ground Devil, who was sure of his defenses wasn't the least worried. He even took a strike to his jewels without any hitch, revealing once again that tricks fail in front of true power.

Meanwhile, Ja Sun, who never cared for pain grew even more ferocious as he pulled true wings behind him that barely cushioned the strike and his body that slammed into Ground Devil's back was curled up. His knees, elbows, and legs took the worst as Ground Devil's fur pierced into his body but the Vajra Gauntlets only let out sharp clashing noise. His left arm covered in purple light instantly activated Heaven's Descent due to the direct contact and once again, most of the effect couldn't even reach the man because of Ground Devil's preparations. Still, Ground Devil grunted in pain and Ja Sun slid down, his body twisting as his wing sharply struck Ground Devil's furry ankle in the enclosed space while Ja Sun cruelly shot his feathers into Ground Devil's ears.

One large, one small. In the enclosed space that took Ground Devil's shape into consideration, Ja Sun still found space to move but his bleeding arms and legs impeded his movement slightly.

Yet, without any care, Ground Devil stomped his foot once again as he almost knelt due to Ja Sun's strike to his ankle. This time, the earthen plates around the duo instantly let out sharp spikes that struck both of them with Ja Sun rolling himself in his wings and feathers. Most of it bloodied yet unable to pierce through Ground Devil's ears and simply stab his brains.

*Ptch*

One spike broke through his defenses, taking Ja Sun's left shoulder's usefulness as his left arm limped down. Even his right foot was pierced but that wasn't worse than his shoulder.

'It's not over yet!' Ground Devil laughed internally without turning back as thin and small spikes struck from the ground itself, puncturing Ja Sun's feet completely and he finally grunted. At this moment, even Ja Sun understood that he had been made of.

Every time Ground Devil struck, he would stomp his foot, making Ja Sun rely on this fake signal but right now, he attacked without warning.

However, in this fast pace of battle, Ja Sun didn't even need a moment to think about his next strike as he twisted his body and cruelly slammed his left arm glowing with shock force onto Ground Devil's furry ass.

'Get the spank of your life, asshole!' Ja Sun grinned as Ground Devil's body shook.

In the meantime, Ja Sun had created another wing and finally pulled himself up with a weak beat of his wings and he instantly pointed his right fist at the back of Ground Devil's head.

'Since these babies can resist your fur... try and resist this,' Three thin needles shot out from the point of his knuckles and instantly pierced Ground Devil's neck.

These were none other than the attribute his Vajra Gauntlets gained when refined by Titanium Crystal. The moment these needles pierced into Ground Devil's neck, they coiled and turned into balls that made Ground Devil finally shake in anger.

"Die! Die! Die!"

Ground Devil roared and his body glowed. Without any indication, Ja Sun hurriedly created wings and dispersed them without a thought while his forehead flashed and a purple dome was formed around him and Ground Devil.

Both of them used their Spirit Bone abilities. But while Ja Sun didn't stop creating wings and dispersing them to cover himself in a ball of feathers, Ground Devil did because he saw a figure clad in scarlet while the cold expression on this man's face instantly shook Ground Devil.

"All are illusions!" Ground Devil roared instantly and the golden light covered the earthen dome!

An explosion!

Bibi Dong hadn't gone far away. There were two very specific reasons for that.

First, she didn't want to. And second, she simply couldn't. Just standing still took a lot of effort and why she didn't sit down was to remain alert and attentive. At least, till she can find the outcome of the battle the moment it was hidden from her eyes as the earthen plates only trembled.

The entirety of Ja Sun's and Ground Devil's fight took without a span of a minute or two.

The next instant, a pillar of light disintegrated the earthen plates before expanding. It was entirely silent as if even the noise was consumed by its strength.

An explosion-type attack of a Titled Douluo and Bibi Dong's expression fell. The light continued to expand as the ground seemed to be dispersing like oceanic waves. But Bibi Dong could only stare at the wondrous sight with a strange sense of emptiness. The piercing golden light basked Bibi Dong, her parted and dried lips, and glazed eyes that grew watery around the corner.

Their bet failed... didn't it?

She thought.

But a moment of carelessness came with the consequence of her life being endangered as a dark golden but bleeding figure tore out from the explosive light. The area behind him grew normal and Bibi Dong looked dazed at the large crater left behind Ground Devil.

He had his large jaws opened widely and he laughed!

"If I devour you... your evil attribute will be the best tonic!" Ground Devil howled happily.

It would seem that Bibi Dong wasn't the only one careless. Even Ground Devil was careless as unknowingly, a soft silver light flickered behind him but he seemed all but unaware of it, just like Bibi Dong. It was just a few steps away, the source of light, that is.

"Mine!" Ground Devil didn't have any inhibitions. He was ordered not to touch her, but in front of supreme benefits, what's a simple order? He was one of the pillars and even if stronger, that man cannot touch him easily!

With the last bit of strength, Ground Devil's body ballooned further, almost seven meters, and the spread of his jaws as high as Bibi Dong's height.

With a cold expression, a purple spiderweb pattern appeared on her forehead and her gaze turned extremely ferocious.

"You think that will be enough?" Ground Devil spread his bulky arms and bit at Bibi Dong's body without stopping at all, fully intending to act like an unstoppable carriage to sweep Bibi Dong off at once.
