5 Harsh Truth

"Hey get up!" I heard my mother's voice at that moment. I felt the sharp pain I felt ten years ago when my mother walked into my room, early in the morning begging me to listen to her. I remember her begging me to stay strong, and to not give in. Then I come back to reality. The Count was standing behind me while I saw a huge orange dragon in front of me.

She looked like the Count, but a different color, her snout blew out smoke as she looked at me and her voice was a medium low and high pitch, but there was something that seemed different between them. I got off the ground, and shook my wings from the dirt. "Well you look really pretty" The orange dragon says as she examines me.

She grabs my tail then my wing, I snarl at her and she backs up. "You're not from around here! I just want to see someone that doesn't look like everyone" she tries defending herself. "I am the princess of this country! You kinda look like the bride of the Ice king!" I freeze as she says that. "But how could that be, the queen hasn't shown herself to anyone for 7 years!" She says in a sly voice. I try to ask why the queen hasn't shown herself, but the dragon interrupts me. "I will take her off your hands brother. I believe she wont do me harm!" the Count then takes a bow and flies the other way. "My name is Vye! I would like to take you somewhere." She says while grabbing my wing. Something sharp cut into my wing, while I looked at it there was a shiny green object in her hand so I followed.

"So where are we going?" I finally got out as we walked out of the mountain. Vye then looks at me with a bright smile.

"You are alive!" She is more excited than me escaping the mountain. I look at her in confusion, as I didn't quite get her. She notices and then explains "I am the queen of this country! Vye Esperosis. Remember we used to play when we were kids." I looked at her in doubt, but her face showed innocence. It was like she was telling the truth but for some reason I couldn't really remember. "Come on don't be a downer" she says as she jumps in front of me. I look at her worried I might hurt her. Then blankly say:

"I don't remember you." I then turn and look at the mountain I just escaped as I wait for the answer she would tell me or the guards around me.

"You know there is a bounty on your head right?" Vye says in a dense voice. I then look back at her. "The 'soon to be' Ice queen ran from her crown." she mocks me as she lifts her head and tilts it to the side. Something hits me as she says that. Her posture, her voice, and even her smell. I back up as I remember a small dragon orange and blue dragon. Though I pictured it, I couldn't make out who it was. Vye then snorts out smoke from her snout. You don't remember me then I won't protect the one person who took my special ability away. So you won't be leaving I am gonna go get that prize." she points toward me and the guards start to move in.

"Think me, come one think" I mumble as I look up and down and around my surrounding areas "I can't let this happen to me again" I thought to myself. "How do I get out of here?" Then out of nowhere the guards fell to the ground. I was surprised to see the one dragon I couldn't believe.

I have started school! Though everything is online now it still needs time for me to end my classes so I will be updating a little less. I have many ideas right now so I might update another chapter. I might have the next chapter character files so you can see what you are reading, but don't be too hyped for that it is pretty hard trying to make the chapters more exciting than the next.
