Synopsis

It's been a couple years since Anna's death, so now our story moves on to a Queen named Sapphire. The royal get together is exciting but what follows after makes Sapphire suspicious of the main queen; the queen of all queens, Pyrexia. If you have not read "The Assassin and the Four Daggers,"read that first, then read "The Assassin and the Dimensions" before you read this.

Chapter 1Chapter 1

Queen Sapphire was awoken by her alarm. Tonight was the Royal Get-Together, where the Queens of each different island, baring their names, got together at Queen Pyrexia's tower. Queen Pyrexia was the Queen of all Queens in the Queens' Islands. She always wore a beautiful gold dress that matched her flowing gold hair. Sapphire, who was excited about the meeting, got up quickly. She slipped into her icy blue dress. She spun around. Her royal bedroom had red carpet and her bed sheets were red velvet. She looked into her mirror that sat on her desk by the big window. She frowned. Her white-blonde hair was a mess. She quickly grabbed her hair straightener and straightened her hair. She smiled, her blue eyes sparkling. She checked her phone sitting on the desk, charging. It was at 100%, but she wasn't happy about how many notifications she had. She unplugged it, but left it on the desk and headed out of her room. She headed to kitchen. It was huge. The floors were shiny white and the cabinets were brown. It had decent sized microwave, which was black, an oven and stove which was also black. When Sapphire walked in, Maria was making breakfast.

"Good morning!" said Maria. She was Sapphire's royal assistant.

"Morning, Maria!" said Sapphire excitedly. She smiled at her. Maria was about an average height, like Sapphire. Maria had caramel brown hair, and blue eyes. She wore a black suit, and white tie. This was the normal dress code for assistants.

"What are you making today?!" asked Sapphire excitedly.

"I'm making my famous french toast!" exclaimed Maria. Sapphire's smile grew bigger. This meal was a favorite of Sapphire's. When Maria was done cooking, they walked to the huge dining hall. It had a chandelier that hung above. The chairs had soft cushions. The brown table had a white table cloth that was soft to the touch. Sapphire sat in her chair, which was bigger than the other wooden chairs. It also had a back cushion. Sapphire stopped smiling. Maria sat next to her after serving Sapphire.

"What's wrong?" asked Maria.

"There's literally only us two in this huge castle," said Sapphire. "I like your company, but it gets lonely, especially at night, when you drive back to your home in White Beach."

"Hey, at least White Beach isn't far from here. Besides, you're the queen, you get to do a lot of exciting things! Heck, the island is named after you and you have ice magic!" exclaimed Maria. "Oh yeah, you left this in the living area last night." Maria held out a blue diamond cut gem attached on a thin gray chain to make a necklace.

"My necklace!" Sapphire grabbed it and put it around her neck. She looked at her food and stuck a fork into it. She cut a piece of french toast and took a bite. Her smile returned. Maria smiled back and took a bite too.

"Thank you for making this, Maria!" said Sapphire.

"You're welcome! So, are you excited to go to Queen Pyrexia's? I know I am! Although...." Maria paused.

"What's wrong?" asked Sapphire. Maria looked annoyed.

"It's Queen Rose and her dumb assistant Dyla. I can't stand either of them! They think they're the best and they act so loyal to Pyrexia" exclaimed Maria. Sapphire groaned. She had forgotten about Queen Rose. She was the most impolite queen Sapphire has ever met. She always treated others poorly.

"Well, on the bright side, we get to see Queen Luna," said Sapphire. Queen Luna was a tall woman. She had long blonde hair. She wore a deep blue dress that had a yellow crescent moon on it. She was also one of the more powerful queens. She was very calm, quiet, and kind. She, like all the queens, wore a necklace with a diamond shape on it. Her's was a deep blue that matched her dress.

"Yeah," said Maria. "We will get to see Queen Luna!"

Two centuries after the Great War, peace between humans and werewolves was finally achieved, or so everyone believes. Werewolves reign like gods, and humans remain blissfully unaware of their true place in the new world order. To maintain this fragile balance, each year, a handful of "lucky" humans are selected from various districts to attend Lunaris Academy, a prestigious institution that promises glory, status, and a chance to mingle with the elite. Those chosen are hailed as the lucky few, destined to marry powerful alphas and rise as luna. This year, Violet Purple is among the chosen, much to everyone's surprise. For an orphaned girl adopted by a disgraced prostitute, this is a golden ticket to a better life or so she's told. But Lunaris Academy isn’t the paradise it’s painted to be. Everything Violet and her fellow humans have been taught is a lie. Humans are far from equal; they're pawns in a much larger game. The academy is nothing but a gilded cage, and the students are lambs led to slaughter, playthings for the alphas to toy with in their ruthless games. To make matters worse, Violet catches the attention of the most dangerous players in this game, the Terror Four: the Alpha of the North, Alpha of the South, Alpha of the East, and Alpha of the West. Each one is more dangerous, more twisted, and more powerful than the last. But even among themselves, the alphas are divided, each with their own deadly ambitions. Yet, they all have their eyes on her. They expect Violet to play along, to fall in line like the others who worship at their feet, to break under their games. But Violet isn’t like the others. She refuses to bow. She’ll defy them all. *********** With a grin that made her uneasy, he handed the application to her. “Approve this one.” Principal Jameson’s curiosity got the better of her as she took the paper from him, her eyes scanning the text. Almost immediately, her breath caught in her throat, her eyes widening in disbelief. “What the...?” “It’s perfect, isn’t it?” Asher’s voice was almost gleeful. Fucking psychopath! Jameson could hardly believe what she was reading. “Mr. Nightshade, with all due respect, this applicant….this girl just admitted to—” She couldn’t even finish the sentence, still horrified at the explicit nature of the application. Taking a deep breath, she continued, “I’m sorry, but I cannot approve this.” “She’s issued me a challenge,” Archer said, a dark gleam in his eyes. “What?” “‘Wait till you see me in bed,’” he repeated the bold line from the application, his grin widening. “And I can’t wait to find out.” “Mr. Nightshade—” He stood up, cutting off her protest as he fixed her with an intense stare. “Approve the application. I won’t ask again.” Without waiting for her response, Asher strode out of the office, confident she would follow his orders. He always got what he wanted. Archer Nightshade walked down the hall, a spring in his step. For the first time in a long while, he felt alive, his blood pulsing with excitement. The other Cardinal Alphas had no idea what he was up to, but it would soon hit them. He’d just set the game in motion. And the target was Violet Purple. It was game on. Note : This is not your average werewolf story. Eveything you think you know about werewolves would be challenged in this book. And yes, it is reverse harem. Do give the book a try.

This book will be focusing on plot, action, depths of character bonds and overall a darker tone/take on this cruel fantasy world I've cooked up for this book! If you give this book a try, I hope you enjoy! A very different experience and tone to Nanomancer Reborn.

QI's system right now categorizes all novels taken from the female novel Chinese site (起点女生网) as 'romance' without fail, regardless of whether they truly are romance. So, if you are here just for the romance, you might want to find a different novel. There will be some romance eventually, but most of this novel is Sci-Fi/Xianxia with a lot of world-building and character development. 2) I use British spelling. So, please ensure spelling errors are really errors before reporting them. 3) No matter what the release rate up top says, the guaranteed release rate right now is 1 chp/day (a.k.a. 7 chps/week). All else is extra at my discretion. (I'll try my best, but RL responsibilities come first.)

Bambi and the Duke

Disowned for being a human, Vivian was taken in as a maid at the age of seven by the Carmichael household. Serving one of the most respected and elite pureblood families in Bonelake, there were rules. Rules that must be followed by all servants and maids. Like everyone else, Vivian was repeatedly reminded not to disobey the rules. But before she could learn to blend into the background like the other servants, the Duke's young son calls to her, “Bambi.” And all hell breaks loose. ----- "What? Never seen a bruise before?" Leonard scoffed at the girl. "Does it hurt?" Vivian asked, gently kneeling beside him and examining the several bruises covering his face. "Not that much." Remembering what her mother used to do when she got a bruise, Vivian brought her sleeve to her mouth and blew warm air on it before placing it on the boy's cheek, taking him by surprise. Leonard swatted her hand away, a hint of pink appearing on his cheeks embarrassed, "W-what are you doing?" "Mama told me this will make the pain go away," the girl held her hand close to her chest as she shared her past memory. "I’m not a child!” Leonard huffed at her. “I don’t think you’re a child,” she stared at him with a crystal-clear gaze. Taken aback, Leonard locked eyes with her for two seconds before shaking his head. “Don’t worry about it. They’ll heal in a day or two anyways," he reassured her before getting up and taking a seat at the table where his books were placed. "Odd girl," he muttered to himself as he pulled the top book from the stack and lost himself in it.
