3 Chapter 3: To Begin Anew(Part 2)

As Kaira was crying uncontrollably her thoughts were a mess. 'What do i do? What's the point anymore? Did he ever really love me? Do those five years mean nothing at all? When did he get together with Wendi? Why are they doing this to me?'

" How....how...how can I trust again? How can I love again? Living.... it... hurts, it hurts so much."

She quickly ran outside and she stopped in the middle of the road. She heard a loud honk behind her and she turned around. Kaira opened her arms, smiling with a resolute smile, and she stayed there waiting for the car to hit her.

She closed her eyes and cried her final tears, which may or may not be the last time she cries. Then darkness and screams filled her head, as the last signs of life from her body vanishes. This scene was heartbreaking to see, as bystanders saw the blood rundown on her silky white dress with her golden hair scattered around.

As Kaira was in the darkness, she felt warm. Like a 'next to the fire' warm. A comfortable warm. A warm she has never felt before, but she never wanted to lose that feeling. Suddenly, she feels a pull coming from a tiny speck of light. As the speck of light grew bigger and bigger, the pull was stronger, pulling her into the light.

She awakes to find her vision blurry, in a hospital room. She felt herself wrapped tightly around a thin cloth, bundling her like a cocoon and then someone holding her in their arms.

Kaira wonders 'where am I?'

Then Kaira hears crying and she realizes that she is the one crying.

Then she hears a women's voice "Oh, she's beautiful!" Then another women said "Yes, she's as beautiful as her mother".

Then a women, that Kaira presumes to be her mother, jokingly said "Hmm I wouldn't say she's that beautiful but she is beautiful enough to be my daughter".

Then she heard a man say " what's her name sweetie". The women responds " hmmm her name should be Valerie.. Valerie Shounmen"

"What a fitting name my dear" the man stated affectionately , " I have to get back to my wife, I'll be visiting you and my daughter later my love". "Ok, bye now" the women said. Kaira heard a door open and close.

She felt the quietness of the room. Then the woman quietly whispered, " You are my precious daughter, Valerie, and together you will help me get the wife position and get that ugly b%*ch below me."

Then she says ,"you are my tool, my weapon, and with this weapon I will get what I want."

Kaira thought 'I must never get too close with this woman'.

Author's note: From this point onwards Kaira will be referred to as Valerie.
