11 Chapter 11: A "Special" Book (Edited)

"Wah" Valerie falls face-flat onto the floor as she opens the door. She looks up and was amazed.

The room was filled with weapons of every type and every shape. There was racks filled with different swords, guns, knives, and there was even a large missile, propped up so that it was ready to use. Valerie didn't know much about weaponry, since she had mostly read on more peaceful things like plants, music, and languages. Everything that had to do with martial arts and killing and all that other stuff, she was clueless about it.

Valerie made up her mind to read about weapons and fighting later on. Right now, she was focused on exploring this large mansion.

She got up and started crawling around the weaponry room, closely looking at the guns that were neatly aligned on the floor.

'There is so many guns here' thought Valerie. While Valerie was admiring the guns, in the corner of her eye, she could see an outline of a box on the wall.

'Is that a secret room I see?' Valerie started smiling. In her past life, when she was little, she loved finding secret rooms in her parent's mansion because she liked using them as a hideout.

Valerie crawled to the outline and pushed on it as hard as she could.

It wouldn't budge.

She pushed once more, with all her might.

It still didn't move.

'I'll just come back to that later' sighed Valerie. She really wanted to see what the secret room contained, but right now, she was took weak to open it. She decided to later come back, stronger, and try to open it once more.

She then slowly crawled out of the room and back into the long hallway. She started crawling and she was trying to look for another open door.

'Aw dammit, why can't they leave doors open', Valerie was very frustrated since she couldn't find anymore open doors. She was just about to head back to her dreadful room when she heard a *plop*.

'huh?', Valerie spun around to see a book. She couldn't quite see what the name of the book was, so she started to crawl towards it. 'Flower Hill', Valerie wondered what the book was about, since it had such a weird title. On the cover, it showed a picture of a hill, a dark gloomy hill. She looked closer and saw 2 dark figures standing in front of each other on top of that hill.

'What a weird book' thought Valerie. Valerie looked up at the wall to see where the book fell from and she could see a shelf. This shelf was empty, which meant that this book was the only occupant on the shelf. 'It may be a special book,' Valerie, as per usual, was very interested on the contents of the book. She opened the book to a random page and it said " Enzon slowly pinched the hard, red dots as Niall loudly moaned.." Valerie starts blushing and she wanted to continue reading more on the two, when she suddenly felt a strong force picking her up from the ground.

"What are you doing out here?" Father asked. He then started walking back to Valerie's room, ignoring the book. Valerie looked longingly at the book over her father's shoulder. 'I will read you sooner or later book', Valerie said with a determined face. Father then put her to sleep in her crib.

The next morning, Valerie was still asleep when someone picked her up. 'God dammit, who dare to disturb me in my sleep?!' Valerie slowly opened her eyes to see a unfamiliar adult man looking at her as she looks back. 'Oh my gosh, i'm going to die today,' Valerie starts flailing her arms and crying very loudly, enough to wake up everyone on the second floor.

" Ahhh why are you crying", asked the unfamiliar man. "Jack, why are you here" Father rubs his eye as he slowly walks towards Jack. He then snatches Valerie from Jack's hand and hugs her, which then, Valerie stops crying since she was now away from danger. "Well, Malcolm, I wanted to touch my new niece, also why didn't YOU tell me that you had a daughter", asked Jack. Valerie turned around and she saw a good look on what Jack looked like.

He had dirty blonde hair, which was neatly combed over. He had slanted eyes and thin pale lips. His skin was a light pinkish color and he had freckles that went across his tall nose bridge to his cheeks. His eyebrows were thick and dark brown, totally different from his hair color. He was wearing a dark blue plaid shirt that closely outlined his broad figure. The plaid shirt was tucked under skinny black jeans. It outlined his tush quite well. He had on some dress shoes and a gold watch which tied up his outfit.

'Not bad, although Father is more handsome', thought Valerie approvingly.

" Because Jack I knew this was gonna happen. Plus I hate it when you disturb me and my family". "Mally, I'm you family toooo" Jack whines. "Anyways Mally how is Zana?"

"Oh her... she's dead" Father stares at Jack straight in the eye showing no emotion. "wha- WHAT why's she dead?" "Well she threatened to kill my daughter so i had to kill her to keep Val safe".

"Malcolm, you know damn well you didn't have to kill her. You could've shot her shoulder or her leg and that would've disabled her from doing anything. Jesus christ Mally, don't you feel guilt or remorse towards what you did? She's so pitiful! I mean you used her to satisfy your needs. She's human too you know!!"

"Jack it's not your f*cking business is it? Are you in love with her?" Jack glares at Malcolm. "Of course not Mally. I'm justing saying that you should not have killed her. I mean don't you pity her?!"

"No in fact, I don't pity her at all. I did what I did to insure my daughters safety and that's that. We are ending this conversation right now Jack."

"All right All right I'll stop" Jack sighs as he puts his hands in the air. "Anyways Mally, I originally came over here to borrow the Kel-Tec PMR-30".

"Alright then Jack, come over". Father leads Jack to his weapon room with Valerie still in his arms. He walks over to his pistol collection and hands Jack the gun he asked for. "Before I give it to you, can I ask why you need it?" Jack looks at the pistol and then looks up "For insurance".
