6 Months Later

Damien owned multiple houses and condos across the world after he expanded his company. He chose to raise Artemis in his Chicago house where he could guarantee the people who were working for him would be able to protect and take care of Artemis. While Damien was very hands-on in her raising and actively learned how to care for her, he couldn't do everything by himself. Luckily, he had the best help that money could buy. He hired a nanny who was called Catalina. She had helped with raising one of Damien's trusted advisor's children.

"Catalina, do you think that Artemis is ok? I've heard that babies tend to cry to get attention, but I have never seen her cry," Damien was worried because he believed that something was wrong with Artemis.

"Damien, she is just an obedient child. Trust her and believe her. I think she will grow up to be a genius!" Catalina only had praise for her. Having watched her for the past six months and having seen other children to compare to, Artemis was a joy for Catalina to raise.

"I do believe in her. Let me go see what she is doing today. She seems to be interested in the toys that are more aggressive for her age. Haha!" Damien jested.

"She is just more active than others her age," Catalina retorted. They both walked over to Artemis's play room to see what she was doing.

"…" Artemis heard them coming from down the hall and turned her head to look at them when she expected them to come through the door. Damien and Catalina were not surprised to see her already looking in their direction as she had done this numerous times before. "Dada!"

"Hmm…wait! Artemis, did you just call me Dada?!" Damien was shocked. He knew that most kids started to babble around this age, but she was already saying her first word!

"Yes, Dada!" Artemis replied while giggling.

"Oh my god! I should have recorded this! Alfred! I need your help, get me the video camera. I want to capture this moment!" Damien called out for his butler.

"One moment, sir. I will be right back!" Alfred quickly headed towards the security room where the cameras were held. He ensured that the camera had a tape ready to go before bringing it over. "Here, sir!"

"Thanks Alfred! Artemis, can you please say it one more time?" Damien tried to convince Artemis to speak for the camera.

"Yes, Dada!" Artemis couldn't stop giggling. She knew that Damien would react in this way. She honestly could have spoken 3 months ago but chose to wait as she didn't want to be too astounding. She knew that she was special, she just didn't know how special.
