34 Cooking Gyudon

Half an hours ago, inside the kitchen,

Alan asks "So, what are you going to cook?"

"Something that will blow your mind!" Rose smirked and moved in front of the cooking table. She took ten cups of rice and rinse it properly. After that, she puts it on the cooker. After that, she lights up the fire and starts cooking the rice.

She moves to a different section and prepares some half-boiled eggs. This process takes a while so she had to keep it on medium heat. After preparing the eggs, she swiftly moved towards another pan. Even though her dress was exquisite, it wasn't heavy and uncomfortable.

With an apron around it and a cooks' cap on her head, she was ready to cook anything. Now, she had to prepare some sauce for her dish. She puts some water on a pan. Then, she looked around in search of her some important ingredients.

She wasn't sure whether she can find everything here. Although Stain reassured her, it is still skeptical to believe that he has got everything. Fortunately, she found mirin (sweet cooking sake), soy sauce, brown sugar.

Fortunately, she can find cooking sake here otherwise she had to use its alternative as well. That would be the white wine.

These were everything she need for sauce. There was another thing that she needs but it was rather optional. It was called dashi which was hard to find even in Garcia. It was rare and directly imported from Human Continent.

Since she didn't find it, she chose not to use it. Now, she had to find more ingredients. But, these were a little easy to find. Burdock root, a vegetable that seemingly grows like a root. It had a cylindrical body. She cuts it into small pieces and adds them to the pan. It was a replacement for ginger. It gives a better taste.

She also cuts some onion and puts it on the same pan. She covers the pan and puts it on high heat. Due to multiple stoves, it was easier to cook many things at once. After that, she looks around in the meat section which was on another table.

There was a box on it. It was big enough to cover the entire table. She opened the box and the cold air blew out. Rose nods her head with satisfaction when she saw ice inside the box. It was one of the easy ways to keep meat healthy and fresh.

These blocks of ice weren't normal either. They could last almost three days without melting at a normal temperature. Speaking of temperature, she found it fascinating that the royal palace wasn't cold as she suspected it to be.

It was warmer like the Garcia. Unfortunately, she didn't know the Alan used some Fire Emitting Wands made out of Elbrium to keep the royal palace hot. Normally for wolves, it didn't matter. Although they like cold, that doesn't mean they are uncomfortable in the heat.

During their training, everyone has to beat intense heat.

Rose didn't linger around the fridge for a long time. She immediately took out some beef meat. After that, she cuts it into thin pieces. At the same time, the water in the pan started boiling. She adds the meat to it and stirs it.

While doing so, she turns off the fire that was cooking rice. She had to let it stay like that for some time.

After giving it a good stir, she waits till the meat gets cooked evenly. Other ingredients such as onion and burdock roots also need to cook properly. After it gets ready, she tastes the soup. As soon as it passes her taste, she turns off the fire.

Slowly, the aroma of the sauce starts spreading wildly. The smell of several different ingredients enters the nostrils of Alan. He couldn't help but gulp hard on it.

She immediately takes out a large bowl and adds rice to it. She then covers it with sauce. Finally, she peels out the hard skin of the egg and only uses the entered part of the egg. It wasn't fully cooked as she had intended.

The soft jelly-shaped inner part spread around the meat sauce. Finally, she holds two big bowls in her hands and walks to the table. Alan was getting impatient as he waits for lunch.

"One of the Special Dish in my arsenal- Gyudon"

Bang!

As soon as she placed the bowls on the table, the doors of the kitchen broke. This immediately made Alan alert but when he saw the nobles on the ground, he tilts his head and looked at them with confusion.

Those nobles hurriedly got up and patted their clothes. They sneak the glance at the bowl and clear their throats.

"Ahem! Your Majesty, we are sorry for barging in like this."

Alan got displeased when they glanced at his meal. He silently moved the bowl closer to him and looked at them "It's okay! All of you can go now. We are having lunch."

At this moment, the crowd couldn't help but feel frustrated. They didn't want to leave especially after spelling the aroma of the beef.

Alan didn't even look at them and took a spoonful of meat and rice. As soon as the food strikes his tongue, excitement burst through his eyes. The taste of the onions and beef combined with the half-cooked egg and rice brings out a strange but enticing taste.

He couldn't help but take another spoonful of food. But, suddenly he lifts his eyes and saw nobles staring at him with drool coming out of their mouth. Wolves normally do not care about the food. But, if you cook something delicious, even the dog will eat it with pleasure.

And, they never had a good relationship with humans. It was hard to find a good human cook for their kingdoms. Even in the city where all humans live, the food isn't anything better. It's normal food which has been cooked properly.

Bang!

Suddenly, Rose smashed her bowl on the table which attracted everyone's attention. Only then did they notice that her bowl was already empty. Those nobles couldn't help but look at their queen speechlessly.

"I am not full."

Rose suddenly turned her head at the nobles as she spoke. Her words made them confused. First, they didn't understand how a thin and weak person like her eat so much and was still not full. Second, why was she telling them that?

Rose turned her head around while walking towards the main cooking table.

"I am not full. So, I am going to cook more." Suddenly, she turned her head back and continued "If you want to eat, bring your tables and chairs!"

As she said, she turned her head and smiled. At this moment, she finally felt she was moving some step closer to her goal. Feeding the kingdom was a hard job to do. She obviously can't cook for all of them. But, she can cook for these nobles, and then, she can skip meetings to teach others cooks in the palace.

As long as they learn, they can cook better. The better the cook, the delicious the food will get, and the whole kingdom with thrive for cooks and food. She was originally planning on feeding the nobles but she was queen.

She can't ask them to come and join. But, this move of noble made it easier for her.

Her mission to feed the Kingdom, part one finally begins.
