24 Kara

The next day Li Wei, Wang Xiu, the twins along with nanny Zhou headed for the airport and boarded one of the Li family's private jets. Few hours later they arived Sydney. They were taken to Palms villa. Li Wei purchased this villa 6 years ago when he and Zhang Lei first came to Australia. During that period, Li Wei met Kara. The villa was called Palms because it was surrounded by palm trees and Kara was the one who named the villa.

"Wow" the twins said in amazement.

"Hello master" Adrian said as he welcomed the family. After the introductions,Adrian showed Wang Xiu Ying and the children round the villa. The children were very excited when they saw the big playground set up just for them. They couldn't stop themselves, they just ran towards the playground.

"I like it here" Wang Xiu Ying said as she stood near the window adoring the view. Li Wei didn't say anything, he only smiled but in his heart, he hated this place. All the memories of the past came rushing towards him immediately. All those memories he had buried deep down crawled their way out.

"What's wrong?" Wang Xiu Ying asked.

"Nothing... I'm just tired" Li Wei answered.

"Li Jie be careful" Wang Xiu Ying said as she ran towards her son who almost fell from the swing.

"Mommy sit down...I'll give you a push"Li Xiu said as she went to the back of the swing.

"How will you do that?.. your hands are too tiny" Wang Xiu Ying said smiling.

"Daddy will give us a push" Li Xiu said as she ran towards her father and dragged him to the playground. The kids sat with Wang Xiu Ying while Li Wei pushed the swing.

The next day, it was time to explore Australia, everyone got up early especially the twins, they were too excited to sleep. Since they were in Sydney, the first place they went to was the Sydney opera house, where they watched a live opera. After that, they went to Melbourne to the National Gallery of Victoria and Port Campbell National Park before returning back to Sydney. The kids wee still feeling ecstatic and couldn't wait for the next day.

The next day,from Sydney they went to visit Kangaroo Island before going to Cairns.

"Li Wei" a beautiful woman said as she walked towards Li Wei. Li Wei froze on the spot as the woman came towards him. Wang Xiu Ying and the kids were also coming towards him. Li Jie ran towards his father.

"Daddy let's go home....I'm tired already"Li Jie whined. The woman standing in front of Li Wei froze instantly.

"Yes can we leave?..please Daddy" Li Xiu begged. Wang Xiu Ying saw the woman standing and was a bit curious. Wang Xiu Ying looked at Li Wei who was lost. The woman stared at Wang Xiu Ying and the twins. It wasn't long before she noticed that she was Li Wei's wife. Li Wei stood speechless but he later spoke when he noticed Wang Xiu Ying's curiosity.

"Xiu Ying...th..this is my friend Kara"Li Wei said. Wang Xiu Ying looked at him in shock. So this is the Kara she had been so curious about.

"He...Hello" Kara said as she smiled at Wang Xiu Ying before looking at Li Wei.

"What are you doing here?" Li Wei asked as he tried hard to compose himself.

"I..I came here to model..so I thought I should just use this opportunity to go on a vacation... I'll be leaving this Friday" Kara said as she gave a sweet smile.

"OK"Li Wei replied.

"Are you staying here?" Wang Xiu Ying asked. Apart from Zhang Lei, she doesn't know any of Li Wei's friends so it was a good opportunity.

"No...I'm staying in a hotel at Sydney." Kara answered.

"That's great we're staying there too...maybe you can come and visit us when you are free" Wang Xiu Ying said happily. Kara looked at Li Wei,he didn't say anything.

"OK" Kara answered as s he watched the family leave.
