You Disappointed Me, Son

Stein managed to steady himself, feeling that the flashbacks were over. He stood up, staggering, his face pale and lips chapped. But he handled it much better than before, not losing his consciousness.

And when he looked at the clock, only about 5 minutes had passed. 

"Walter!" He called out in a rasp. "Cough, Walter! Walter!"

He ran all around the house looking for Captain Clerval, not knowing that the man he was looking for was currently on the rooftop garden, high on mushrooms with his creator and lover. Stein could not bear being alone after everything he had seen, sweating profusely and his veins popping out.

He looked down at his arms for a second when he saw these veins, bright blue as they were. The thing that flows within them, the inhuman blue substance they call the Nirvana substance, a stuff of legends from some faraway arctic land.....

And his face.

He went over to look at his reflection from one of the windows.
