1.9 FATED LOVE: Comfort**

-----

Mo Yinan stands by his bed and Liu Lianyu finds that he isn't particularly bothered, even with all the little love tokens collected in this room. In truth, he's likely forgotten about them. It's likely he's forgotten about the implications of Mo Yinan being there too. He's too lazy to deal with the duvet he had kicked aside and doesn't complain when Mo Yinan takes it upon himself to tuck Liu Lianyu in.

Still, he complains like a petulant child and chalks it up to the omega inside him that demands attention. "It's too hot now."

"O-oh," Mo Yinan fumbles cutely, like a child whose mind is still catching up to a too-big body. He moves in an attempt to alleviate Liu Lianyu from his suffocating duvet. But just when his finger brushed on Liu Lianyu's collarbone, the omega is quick to slap the hand away.

"Don't touch me," he says but his tone is song-like, playful and he thinks somewhere in the depths of his mind that he's completely lost it.

Mo Yinan pouts, not completely oblivious to Liu Lianyu's antics. "Now you're just bullying me."

Liu Lianyu reaches up to touch his own head, feeling for the fever that's spreading, gnawing away at his reasoning. "Hm, maybe…" he bumbles and takes a peek from behind lidded eyes to see his adorable alpha standing at his bedside. "Sorry, Mo Yinan. I didn't mean to go that far."

The way red creeps across Mo Yinan's face is fatally endearing. "N-no it's fine," he stammers, "I don't mind if you bully me?"

There is a smirk on Liu Lianyu's lips before he can stop it, "That so?"

Mo Yinan coughs loudly but Liu Lianyu takes note of how he doesn't bother taking back his words. His ears are scarlet. "Your fever must be really bad if you're saying all these things. Um…I'll get you some water."

The alpha is right because the last string of Liu Lianyu's mental faculties fall away and he's reaching out, grabbing the edge of Mo Yinan's sleeve. "Stay," he commands.

Mo Yinan looks like a scandalized woman, with his mouth a small gaping o-shape and his flushed and stupefied. "But…" he tries and fails to find coherency, "Your fever…and I…I'm…"

Liu Lianyu rolls his eyes but he's grinning because who wouldn't love such a cute kid. He pushes his duvet aside and pats the space on the bed, "If you do anything funny, I'll kick you out for real." He doesn't know what's gotten into him to be so brazen. Maybe it's the fire that Mo Yinan ignited in his soul, maybe it's just fever talking or hyper-compatibility encouraging deviancy. Something like that isn't out of the ordinary.

His heart is causing an uproar that's difficult to ignore but Liu Lianyu is still doing his best despite the fact. He looks up, watching Mo Yinan fidget and waits for his baby alpha to make his move. A part of him wonders what he would do should Mo Yinan refuse the offer.

Maybe stew in regret for his absurdity in the first place? Or taste the bitterness of soulmate-rejection.

Of course, there is nothing to worry about. Though he's tentative, Mo Yinan climbs in. He's careful, his movements slow and full of uncertainty like he doesn't understand the boundaries but wants to be mindful of them anyways.

Liu Lianyu's bed isn't that large, there's barely enough roof for the two of them, but that might be attributed to the pile of unfolded laundry thrown about. Mo Yinan is stupidly large; board bones and lean muscle and legs too long to fit in the small space without bumping into Liu Lianyu.

There's the barest breadth between them. If Liu Lianyu so much as flinch they would touch. He smiles at the thought, lashes fluttering close. The only thing that could make the situation better is if Mo Yinan grew some balls and actually dares to put his arm around Liu Lianyu's stomach.

How nice would that be?

But Liu Lianyu's fatigue only worsens and he can no longer think straight, no longer move his body in the way that he likes. He grumbles and rolls and his face collides with something cool. It's Mo Yinan's arm and Liu Lianyu mumbles against it before the last of his awareness is stolen.

"…"

The voice comes to him, distant and distorted. "Yu-gege, can I?"

Liu Lianyu doesn't know what he's asking. Still, the omega is nodding fervently even though he feels paralyzed from the neck down. It's dark all around him, or rather he cannot open his eyes.

But even in the pitch black darkness, he can pick out the features of Mo Yinan's face perfectly. His boyish jawline, that sharp, pointed nose and puppy-dog eyes that can see into his soul; make his heart flutter and soul ablaze. Breathing is impossible but he's begging anyways.

What Liu Lianyu is begging for, is something beyond him.

Hands spread over plush, milky thighs and he's aching something terrible.

There's a strong musky scent and Liu Lianyu is gagging over how much his chest labors, pushing and pulling against his rib cage.

A hot tongue flicks over his chest and caresses his right nipple, flicking the rosy nub teasingly. Electricity shoots through his body and his hips buck upwards.

The hand pushes him down and he's whimpering. "Please, Mo Yinan, please."

It must be the heat talking, he can't even recognize his own voice.

A sweet moan draws out of his lips. "Yes, ah! More!" He grinds down on the two fingers spreading him. He's already soaking wet and it's not enough. Oh god, it's not enough.

"Please," he begs again. It's unlike him to be so uncreative with words.

"Yu-gege," the voice above him rasps but says nothing else. He continues to work Liu Lianyu open, fingering him until he unravels into nothing more than a slobbering mess.

"Please," again, he begs. His thoughts are racing but no other words come out. Nothing makes sense, it's all dark around him and he's floating, too hot and drowning. He reaches down and wrestles with the zipper. The outline of a large alpha cock is just in front of him and he's salivating like some sort of rabid animal.

It takes some effort but he finally dislodges the zipper. His prize is freed and Liu Lianyu finds that he's lying down again, shuddering and trembling without any ability to move. Or maybe he's moving but he's not at the same time.

"Hurry," he groans, "Put it in already!"

"Yu-gege."

"Call my name, dammit!"

Mo Yinan calls his name but Liu Lianyu hears nothing.

His eyes fly open, a shocked gasp leaves his lips and his heart thunders in his chest. He shoots up on his bed and he's surrounded by darkness. It takes a moment for his eyes to adjust, for reality to sink in.

Residual heat flutters through his pores and he feels agitated. There's a glass of water and some shitty take out next to it, a note pinned underneath. No one lies next to him and Liu Lianyu is horrified but also thankful.

Dread and guilt begin to fester as the events prior to his sleep begin to unfold in his mind.

Oh god.

Did he really invite his student into his own bed?

Oh god. How could he be so depraved? Disgust wells within and he feels nauseous.

Did he really have a fucking wet dream about his student?

Liu Lianyu isn't fifteen anymore and it's completely mortifying of a concept. It's impossible to wrap his head around. He's betrayed by his own body. His breathing quickens, goosebumps spread on his flesh. An incomprehensible pain grips his heart and Liu Lianyu wants to curl up and die. He lies back down but his body isn't ready for sleep. His muscles hurt and he hates himself and everything about omegas and alphas and hyper-compatibility.

An overwhelming emotion causes him to jolt back up. The duvet is tossed aside and he stumbles out of bed into the mess around his bed. He's unthinking when he grabs the take out and the note and storms over to the trash can.

The untouched food falls in with a loud thud but the folded paper flutters down and catches Liu Lianyu's eye. He bends over and grabs it off the floor, crumpling the white sheet in his palm before discarding it.

His chest hurts so much that it causes him to hiccup. Liu Lianyu folds in on himself and kneels by the trash can. An unwanted sob rips out his throat and he feels so disgustingly fragile.

With shaking hands, Liu Lianyu reaches back into the bin and plucks the crumpled note out. He straightens it with much effort, his digits quiver like leaves to the wind.

His eyes blur and it's dark, with only twilight seeping in from the window but Liu Lianyu squints, brings the note right up to his face and forces himself to read it anyways.

It was clumsily written. Mo Yinan's handwriting is terrible. When Liu Lianyu chuckles, it also draws out a sob. He wipes his eyes and continues to read:

[ Dad called so I have to go home now. Please drink some water and eat something, I got it from a shop downstairs so don't worry about anything suspicious. Please get better soon Yu-gege, I hope to see you tomorrow at school! If there's anything urgent please call me though, I will definitely help you no matter what. ]

- Mo Yinan

Liu Lianyu carefully folds the note back up and places it on the counter. He hates his weakness and wonders if he could afford to take another day off work.

In his heart, he already knows that he can't.

SORRY if I blueballed anyone LOL

I swear if you actually re-read the dream sequence you'll realize the whole thing doesn't make sense XD
