Suddenly as if her speech triggered something a projection appeared in the center of the room.

The picture shown on the projection was a giant vague blue face made up of countless threads.

"DNA and soul wave analysis completed welcome new fire holder. Detected that the new fire holder has emerged activating energy related authority of the Olympus sanctuary. Welcome to Olympus inheritor of the flame" And with that the projection disappeared.

Seeing this Victoria seemed to let out a sigh of relief and a smile slipped unto her lips making her look like a sacred angel had descended stunning mike who was watching her.

"sorry I have some matters to attend to Kira will show you around." Victoria clutched her book and said as she walked crisply out of the room before disappearing from sight.

Kira sat generously on his bed, without asking and made herself comfortable, she started explaining the situation of the world to him.

According to her there were countless parallel earths each with other god systems, earth was once a very large world in the void that stretched through both high dimensional and low dimensional spaces it housed countless higher civilizations, these civilizations to the inhabitants of the lower dimensions were called gods and their place of residence were called god systems, the most famous of which were Olympus, asgard, Hong, land of bliss.

There was a sudden catastrophe and most civilizations were wiped out the earth was split and disconnected from its high dimensions, various civilizations had their relics in various split parallel earths, what for no one was really sure, but what was certain was that the various civilizations were hostile to each other and encouraged the plunder of other civilizations relic hidden in several parallel earths.

Different relics affected the parallel earths they were in differently the most of famous of which were the Olympians known for their superpower technology, Asgardians famous for its rune culture, Eden famous for its research on the application of faith, Hong was famous for its application of qi which is energy, and the land of bliss had unparalleled research in the aspect of the soul.

Basically all superpowers present on earth can be regarded as Olympians, this information was only known to members of the sanctuary.

As an ancient organization the sanctuary had plenty of members but they were scattered all over the world, even the location of Olympus was only known to few members. Superpowers were rare to begin with in the whole of earth there were probably only about 500 superpowers currently active and the amount of damage superpowers could do was limited and this was as a result of a technology that the sanctuary had obtained from Olympus which twisted reality making all superpowers to be limited in their destructive power and population.

But recently this technology was failing there was an attack by some Asgardians on a parallel earth that was close to theirs and paid a great price to arrive in this earth launching a suicide attack that destabilized the technology and started creating various dimensional loopholes and cracks, in about a year from now superpowers would appear explosively and various other artifacts from other worlds would flood in but that wasn't the core of the problem, the core was that soon it was time for the dimensional shuttle space to activate again.

The dimensional shuttle space was a space that drew in all those with extraordinary powers in various world, they would then shuttle to unfamiliar place complete various missions acquire powerful relics and knowledge, it was rumored this space was made by the combined efforts of all civilizations and they kept backdoors in it, for example for the Olympus civilization the activation of all four artifacts would grant them certain permissions that would not be activated easily in this place, this would greatly reduce the danger and let them grow faster than others.

Of course other civilizations had their own backdoors but it was a question of whether they would be able to activate it before the time.

"But all that is for later what we need to do know is to temporarily activate the backup tech to control the appearance of superpowers for at least 10 months." Kira finally concluded

"oh so that was what the authority thing was for but what I don't understand is why we need to activate it again."

" isn't that flame supposed to make you smarter." Kira couldn't help but mutter after hearing that question, finally sighing she continued

"it's for stability just look at the amount of damage you inflicted unconsciously, if we don't curb it the whole world will be plunged into chaos soon and once it starts it will be hard to fix, chaos is easy to appear but order is particularly difficult to build, but when the dimension shuttle is activated the rules won't allow a large scale spread of chaos. Well ill leave you to it, with your authority you can access the database on the system and are free to move around the base." Kira finally said before teleporting out of the room.
