46 The Immortal Witch of Dun Scaith

Land of Shadows, Dun Scaith

Rizevim had already departed from the Underworld before the end of the Civil War, as he had foreseen the events and knew how they would unfold. Despite his indifference towards the throne and his ultimate goal of becoming a god and pursuing knowledge, Rizevim couldn't ignore the fact that someone else now occupied his throne and bore his family name. This stirred up a sense of pride and ego within him, fueled by his rebellious bloodline of Lucifer. Despite his nonchalance towards the throne, Rizevim couldn't help but feel that what was rightfully his had been taken.

Rizevim leisurely strolled through the Land of Shadows, accompanied by two ladies, Angelica and Zoe. With his final project of creating a new race and various other smaller projects completed, Rizevim had chosen to depart from the Underworld and explore the vast expanse of the Land of Shadows.

After traversing the barrier enveloping the Land of Shadows, Rizevim guided Angelica and Zoe halfway up the mountain to an ancient castle. This fortress, known as Dun Scaith, served as the residence of the Queen of the Land of Shadows, none other than the warrior-queen and mentor of heroes, the immortal witch, Scathach.

Upon arriving at the castle, they traversed its halls until reaching a reception room. Seated on a throne within the sparsely decorated chamber was an exquisitely beautiful woman, her figure epitomizing perfection. She possessed long purple hair and piercing red eyes, adorned in a full-body black ensemble accentuated by metallic shoulder pads, emphasizing her alluring curves. Leaning against the side of her throne was a crimson-red spear, exuding an ominous aura.

"Speak, intruder, for what purpose have you visited my Land of Shadows?" she inquired, her gaze unwavering, radiating a palpable pressure.

Rizevim attempted to release his pressure in response, though his efforts were futile. Nonetheless, he managed to shield Angelica, considering her status as a Satan-ranked devil.

"I have come for two purposes," Rizevim began, addressing the formidable queen before him. "Firstly, despite my strength, I am not a warrior. While I may excel in magic, I pale in comparison to you, who have mastered Primordial runes under Odin himself. I seek to learn the ways of combat from you."

"Secondly, I desire to liberate you from this place and claim you as my queen. I intend to conquer you and evoke a surrender from the depths of your heart," he declared boldly.

Scathach's expression remained unyielding as she intensified her aura, her voice carrying the weight of her power. "And why would you believe that I will allow that?"

Rizevim felt the weight of her presence press down on him, a reminder of her formidable strength. He listened as she continued, her words echoing with the weight of her past deeds.

"Many things——— Truly, I robbed many lives. A man. A wraith. A god. I've confronted many existences of a countless number, slaughtering all those near me. Fight. Fight. Fight. Kill, kill, kill kill kill. In the end, this body was wet with the blood of many victims, and became immortal."

"I will not grow old. I will not die. I've changed into 'that' which is immortal. Do you truly believe that I could be conquered? I may be defeated, but there hasn't been a man that conquered this Scathach," she declared with conviction, her tone unwavering.

"I heard you like to bet and teach talented warriors, so let's bet. If you teach me, I will defeat you by the end of the training. If I do, you will allow me to pursue you. If I can't, then my life would be yours to take, as I bet on my pride as a Lucifer. No one will interfere, not even this little girl by my side, as I know that you have some inkling about her powers," Rizevim replied confidently, his determination clear in his voice.

"I shall indulge in your fantasies, as it has been a long time since I taught someone. But if you disappoint me, then it will be over. I can see that you are confident because you have so much raw power, but it wouldn't matter much, as I have much more than you," Scathach replied, her tone firm.

"Oh, don't worry about my raw power. I would remove it before the start of my training. By the way, let me introduce myself. I am Rizevim Livian Lucifer. Here is my wife, Angelica, and this is my creation, in her avatar form, Zoe," Rizevim said, introducing himself and his companions respectfully.
