It was still the night of the Aperture awakening Li Shang knew had had to get strong quick. He cant waste his time on irreverent stuff, he needs to get stronger.
Li Shang decided to refine his first Gu, Black boar Gu. Li Shang had A grade talent with 94% primeval essence. Li Shang tried to refine it but it failed, He tried 5 more times but he failed.
"Damn" Li Shang said calmly, this was within his expectations. Since he came from Earth his mindset is different from other people in the Gu World He grab the primeval stones right next to him to regain his primeval essence. Li Shang didn't give up, how can give up on small things like this, in the future he is going to face many difficult things. He then thought about a method.
" I should minimize the Gu Movement" Li Shang thought
He trapped the Gu and started to infuse his primeval essence in the Black Boar Gu. This time the Gu didn't resist. He spent about 5 hours to refine this Gu. He spent 15 stones.
Li Shang thought about Fang yuan and how lucky he was to have a rank 6 vital Gu which refine can refine a rank 4 Gu and below with in a second just because its aura.
This brought Li Shang another question" what should my vital Gu be?" Liquor Worm Gu would be a good choice. Okay it's decided I will buy a Liquor worm Gu, but the caravan is coming next month, Damn. I don't have that time to wait a month. Li Shang sighed it would have been good If I had the Liquor worm Gu.
" Oh I can convince my grandfather to buy it for me.

He was breathing heavily and was out breath
" I can successfully activate Black boar Gu with any backlash ."
"My Martials arts decent But it can get better. I need to get real live combat. Once I get a movement Gu and hit rank 1 middle I would be good to do missions, But for now I can use the guards and ever since then guards felt like hell.

To advance Li Shang needed to refine the wall, so he started to refine it. Li Shang did this for 4 hours. It took mental strain and he felt tried. His aperture wall was still the same, but that was expected. He'll probably need two weeks or three weeks. Since Li Shang is the clan heads disciple, he gets 100 primeval stones each week. Also Li Shang get 50 primeval stones from his grandfather. So his allowance is 150 primeval stones each month. This was a very good Start for Li Shang
" I should get some boar meat to feed my Gu"
Li Shang made his way to the local meat pavilion.
" What can I get for you sir" said the worker
" Get me 1 kilo of Boar meat" Li Shang said
We only have 500 grams of boar meat said the worker.
"That's good enough, quickly get it"
"That would be 1 primeval stone" the worker said nervously
The worker though Li Shang was a mortal and here to goof around.
Li Shang didn't feel bothered by this he was working casual cloths. He gave the primeval stone to the worker. The worker quickly got the meat.
Li Shang left meat pavilion with his 500 grams of boar meat.
Li Shang went back home and fed the black boar Gu.
"This meat can last me a good week or two"
For the rest of the week , Li Shang practiced activating his gu and his cultivation. Li Shang nodded in thrill. He had cracked his aperture wall in 1/12. He was getting closer to rank 1 middle, but this is to slow.
"I really needed a Liquor worm gu"
Li Shang decided to go to his grandfather room and ask for a liquor worm gu.
Li Shang bowed down "Good afternoon Grandfather"
"Good afternoon Li Shang"
"Grandfather I need something"
" what do you need my grandson"
" I need a liquor worm gu, I needed to fasten my cultivation so I can help my clan"

" I can do that but do you already refine your the Black boar Gu I Gave you.
"Tch this old man dodging the question" Li Shang thought
" Yes Grandfather for the clan I worked very hard to refine this gu and I want to strive to be the best"
" Fine I get you the liquor worm Gu, but it will take me some time, maybe 8 or 10 days.
" Grandfather thank you so much"
Li Shang went back to his and slept
