1 The Seed Sprouts

Excitement echoed throughout the universe as it normally did, this was a world where martial arts ruled supreme, those with power made the rules and those without had to follow them. Heroes were constantly being born, and at the same time were constantly dying, one only ruled supreme until someone stronger took their place.

Suddenly, in one of the many uncharted places of the universe, the space tore, a seed like object shot out of the tear at a terrifying speed, faster than light as it flew across the universe. The seed seemed to be looking for a habitable planet, one where it could survive.

The seed travelled for years, despite its speed, the universe was endless, and finding a safe spot was truly a challenge. Eventually after years of constantly flying, the seed seemed to notice a planet, it was lush with blue and green, filled to the brim with life. The seed shot down towards the planet, as if it's found a new home.

The seed entered the atmosphere, but strangely enough, despite the people of the planet being cultivators capable of amazing feats, who could sense a needle in the ocean, no one seemed to notice this seed whatsoever. The seed sent out some sort of mind wave, that scanned the planet, it quickly did some tests like it wanted to figure something out.

It noticed the creatures that inhabited this planet were humanoid, walking on two feet, with two arms. Their colors, height, and builds varied greatly, but they seemed to get along fine. After scanning the planet multiple times, the seed stopped, it searched for a good landing spot before shooting down towards the planet; as it fell downwards, it slowly morphed.

From an unassuming seed it turned into a young man. He had long black hair that reached his waist, golden pupils, and a handsome face. The young man slowly opened his eyes, and looked around him. His eyes were cold and emotionless, but filled with wisdom. His name was Cain, he was a fourth dimension demon, an extremely rare creature, in fact only one could exist at a time. Once a fourth dimension demon died, another would be born. Cain came from the fourth dimension, a special place in which only his kind could survive.

He was locked there for hundreds of years and it wasn't until recently he escaped, however he wasn't ignorant, with his ancestral memories he remembered a few essential things, such as the galaxy he was located in. This was the Purple Galaxy, one of the four main galaxies under the Blue Phoenix Galaxy, and this specific planet was earth, ruled by humans, one of the most successful races in the universe. Cain clenched his fist, his gaze was determined, the only thing he wanted was power.

All his predecessors failed in the pursuit towards immortality, but he wanted to be the one who finally succeeded. Cain's race had the ability to morph into the first group of creatures it scanned, however they could only use this ability once, the form Cain was currently in would be his form forever.

Cain walked out of the area he was in, he was currently naked so he needed to find some clothes first. He walked towards the nearest town and found a normal man who didn't cultivate, he quickly knocked him out before wearing his outfit and moving on his way. Cain was generous enough to leave a leaf over the man's private area, after all he couldn't just take his clothes without paying him back.

"Did you guys hear? The Blue Fire School is recruiting students soon, if we manage to get enrolled it'll change our lives forever."

"Were just some country hicks, no way will the Blue Fire School take us in."

"Who cares if they don't take us, just being able to experience the event would be enough to brag for a lifetime."

Cain was silently listening in on these young man prattle on about the Blue Fire School. He quickly determined where he was heading next, he was currently a complete mortal so he needed to start cultivating, not only to enhance his strength, but also to further awaken his ancestral memories and unlock more of his races innate abilities.

Cain currently only had a few dollars on him, what was left of the change on the man's clothes he stole. He headed towards the town center and found a market where he quickly purchased a map. He was currently located in a small town, it was a few hundred miles away from the Blue Fire City, a city under governance by the Blue Fire School, and one of the most flourishing cities on the planet. He also learned that Blue Fire Sect was one of the greatest schools on the planet, furthering his resolve to get enrolled there.

Cain used what was left of his money to get a ride towards Blue Fire City. the enrollment was still about a week away so he had some time left. He boarded the train and sat on a random seat, a few girls on the train were staring directly at him, which was to be expected, his current form was extremely handsome, truly a lady killer. Despite the shabby clothes he was wearing it didn't stop the girls from staring.

Cain ignored the star struck girls before heading back towards his thoughts. Because he was stuck in the fourth dimension for hundreds of years before heading out and also due to the nature of his race, he was naturally cold and unfeeling. His kind had no brothers, sisters, parents, or children, each one of them were completely on their own, no one to share their struggles with.

Cain was a man who wasn't afraid of loneliness, he would do anything to pursue power, this was his calling, an ideal he had been dreaming of for hundreds of years while trapped inside that fourth dimension, and now, his journey had just began.
