Jaemin took a deep breath, tears brimming in the corners of his eyes. He juts on his bottom lip, suppressing any possible sound to leave his lips.

"I see.. But, you'll come visit me some other time, right?"

Jaemin asked over the telephone, twirling the wire between his fingers while he waits for a response.

"I will try. But I cannot promise that. You know how busy I am."

Jaemin mutters a sound, his words are failing him.

"C-can I go ou-"

"Jaemin, we already agreed on this ever since. You're not allowed to leave the premises of the hospital. You're not allowed to go outside either."

"But t-the hospital also takes up the place outside the building.. Am I not allowed to go that far, at least?"

He stutters, eyes shaking as he stares at the ground. He can feel his legs turning weak, he can feel his hand shake while he clutches the telephone tightly, afraid that he might lose grip anytime soon.

"No. Stop being stubborn, Jaemin."

Jaemin remained quiet after hearing the response of the person from the other line.

"I'm hanging up now. Say hello to Renjun for me when he pays you a visit."

His eyes grew wide.

"Wait!"

But he was too late.

The person on the other line already hung up on him. They barely spoke. It wasn't even anything longer than fifteen minutes.

Jaemin shook his head as he put the phone back down on the dial, heaving another heavy sigh.

Why must they be so harsh on me? He thought to himself as he strides back to his bed. It felt uncomfortable. He stared blankly into a hole of nothingness. Tears threatening to fall down. His lips quivered as he began to shake, he shut his eyes tightly causing the tears he tried holding in for so long to stream down his cheeks. His head started to throb horribly, he clutched his hands to both sides of his head. It hurts so much. He wince as tears continued to stream down his cheeks.

He lets out a whimper, "A-ah, ah… m-my medi-medicine.." He pants, fluttering his eyes open, only to feel nauseous and dizzy.

His vision began to blur, making it complicated for him to look for his medicine. His head continued to ache, as if his head was being prob by needles. He screams in pain as he falls to his side.

"No more.. p-please."

He pleaded to no one, gently shaking his head as he continues to cry.

He hated how he's having an episode after having a short conversation with his mother.

He felt hurt.

Why do they treat me like no one? How could they prioritise their work over their child?

He agreed to be admitted to the hospital because no one will be around to help him if he experiences the attack inside their house.

But isn't it their obligation to visit their child at least once every week? Is it too much to spare a little bit of their time for their child? To spend it with their child and see how their child is doing?

"Jaemin! What's going- Oh my god, someone, call Jaemin's nurse!"

Jaemin could only cry.

His questions will remain unanswered.

He can only continue to suffer.

It's not like his parents ever cared for him anyways.
