"Are you sure you're okay now? I'm sure Jeno will understand if we don't get to visit him today, you know.." Renjun asked Jaemin, voiced laced with worry.

"Yes. Thank you, Injun. But I'm okay now, I think. I feel like my room is the one causing me to think so negatively lately." Jaemin jokes.

'I have to show that I'm fine.' Jaemin thought to himself. He takes a deep breath before mustering a smile across his lips, turning his back from Renjun as he faced the door in front of him and sliding it open.

"How is it possible that I always become a mess when I'm around that.. guy?" Jeno thought to himself, cussing under his breath after he remembered pleading for the brunet to come back and visit him again.

"If that was the case, I'd say you are one beautiful mess, Jeno."

Jeno stammers. His eyes gawking in shock when he heard a voice behind him. It was unusually low for it to be a female, or for it to be the nurse assigned to his room. Was he caught up in his own train of thoughts to even realize that someone already entered his room?

"H-huh?"

"Speaking our thoughts out loud again, I see?" Jaemin snickers.

"Shut up. Did you come here to tease me?" The black-haired boy scoffed before grabbing his glass of water and taking a sip. Jaemin hid his hands behind him. The brunet puffed his cheeks as he glanced over Jeno.

"No, I came here to see you."

"And also because I promised." Jaemin continued, humming gleefully. Jeno fell silent after receiving the brunet's response.

"I-"

"Jaemin, you're scaring him. Don't be a flirt."Jeno hears a softer voice behind Jaemin. Jaemin turns his head and even though he wasn't facing Jeno, Jeno can see Jaemin puckering his lips into a pout already.

"I'm not scaring him, Renjun."

"Ren.. jun?" Jeno asks, dumbfounded and clueless. Jaemin pulled 'Renjun' besides him, grinning.

"Yup! This is my friend, Renjun, by the way! I thought I should introduce him to you."

"I am truly sorry for coming uninvited.. But I hope you do not mind having someone else along other than Jaemin for today? I can leave if it makes you uncomfortable."

"Oh. No, it's okay. Please stay. I don't really mind having someone else around, I guess.. I'm staying here for a while so I might as well try and make new friends while I'm at it. Not that I have a lot of friends outside though.. But I might as well try my luck here, at least." Jeno admitted while nodding his head to himself. Renjun nodded in response as he flashes Jeno a small smile.

Jaemin chuckled to himself after his two friends' short introduction. He casually walks towards the huge window inside Jeno's room. The brunet rested his palms against the window, taking a peek of the outside and admiring the sight of falling leaves and chirping birds

"This feels nice. The both of you being able to meet and know each other. Two of the best people I have in one room!" Jaemin chirps.

Jeno and Renjun gave each other quick glances before emitting chuckles.

"See? The both of you are even chuckling in sync. Am I that funny?"

"It's just nice to see you feeling better and happy, Jaemin." Renjun hums.

"What should we do, though? There's nothing much to do in my room. It's practically dull and empty." Jeno asks, pursing his lips into a thin line. He would have tried and asked Mark to help him come up with something if he only knew Jaemin would be coming along with someone else today.

"Well, I don't really mind it. We can do whatever the both of you feel like doing. Jaemin's room is basically the same but we try to come up with things to do to kill boredom." Renjun explained, glancing around the room and being greeted by the same walls Jaemin's room has.

"How about we all take up Jeno's remaining bed space and cuddle for warmth?" Jaemin blurted out, his attention now fixated on the two.

"What?!"

"I'm kidding! Geez."
