The cold night breeze made Jeno shiver. He tugged on his jacket and walked a bit more, finally reaching their home.

He stepped inside their house and locked the door behind him, clasping and rubbing his freezing hands together in hopes of warming them back up.

"Jeno, it's pretty late.. Where were you?"

It was his aunt, standing by the stairs.

Jeno blinked in surprise, immediately lowering his head down in respect. "I went to buy something. I was feeling hungry." He answered monotonously.

His aunt nods slowly, receiving the message that he didn't feel like talking to anyone right now. She moves aside, letting Jeno walk upstairs and to his room.

She watches Jeno disappear from her sight, before releasing a sigh as she walked back to her room sadly.

Jeno took his jacket off and hung it behind his door, switching the lights on. He tossed his bag to his bed as he walks to his closet to change his clothes.

The walls of his room were painted with a muted colour of gray. His room seemingly plain, no posters were hanging on his wall nor were there any photos and picture frames. He didn't feel the need to fancy his room.

After all, it isn't his room.

He walked towards his window after getting changed, pulling the blinds open and peeking at the view outside.

The sky was dull, there weren't any stars. The moon is nowhere to be found either. The only source of light outside were the artificial lights from the buildings, as well as the dim yellow lights from the lamp posts scattered across the streets.

The moon and the stars are the ones that gives the blank night sky light. They accompany it. Without the stars and the moon, the sky will look empty and boring. And Jeno thought he was just like the plain night sky tonight. He's the sky, the moon and stars would be the people surrounding him.

But the thing is, nobody ever stayed by his side for too long.

He can count by his fingers how many people remained by his side. He can count how many people were able to pass through all his attempts of shutting everyone out.

His phone rang by his bedside table, Jeno wondered who could it be as he nears. It was Mark, calling him. He took a few seconds staring at the name of the caller blankly, before finally answering the call.

"Hey, Mark. What's up?"

"Jeno! You're still awake, huh? Anyways, I don't really have any specific reason as to why I called you. How are you doing? From the tone of your voice, you seem down."

Jeno walked back to his window to shut the blinds. He shrugged his shoulders smugly.

"Everything just sucks, Mark."

"Awes.. You know what, let's have lunch together next week! My treat, so you better come and not ditch me!"
