41 do what you love

Dear diary,

Today has been quite eventful and fun compared to my other days. Today's visit felt a lot more enjoyable, too. I finally met my friend, Chenle after a few years of being unable to see each other in person. It felt like such a long time have passed already. The last time I seen Chenle, he was still small and young. Well, he's still young indeed, but he matured so much! His voice became low although his laugh still resembles a dolphin. Haha! It's been so long since the last time I heard him laugh. His laugh is contagious, actually. Renjun and Jisung were making lame jokes and although it wasn't really funny enough to make me laugh, Chenle's laugh never ceases to do so. I almost forgot to mention that his Korean sounds a lot better and fluent now! He still experiences a bit of a hard time understanding some words and understanding a few sentences, but that's okay. And speaking of Jisung, he's a really cute and adorable boy! I think he'll be my next favorite asides Chenle. He told me about his hobbies and what he does, he even performed a short piece of his own choreography after he told me that his passion is dancing and inspiring others to dance. Seeing the way he delivered the steps was amazing! I must admit that he inspired me to dance, it is such a shame that I couldn't do it, though. I can't do activities that will tire me.. Hmpf.

My therapy will be in a few days so I don't think Renjun and the others can visit me until the therapy is over. So I guess I'll be on my own tomorrow. Frankly speaking, I can't help but feel excited. Today has been so fun for me that it helped me to be at ease and worry less of what may happen. I think it's the right thing to do, though. Today's events made me realise that sometimes, we are the ones causing ourselves to worry and stress more about things. If we worry less and just enjoy of what we have in the present, I think everyone will live a happier life. From this day onwards, I'll make sure to think positively, worry less of my future and just enjoy what is there today.

Also, this is probably random of me, but I thought I'd include it here. Before my friends came, I was reading my former entries in my diary. I can't help but think of that boy. I wonder where he is now. I hope that wherever he may be right now, he's doing well. He was a huge fan of music and aspired to do something that has something to do with music someday. I hope he is doing the thing that he enjoys doing most, just like Chenle, my diary.

My entry today is a lot longer than usual, don't you think? I might as well call it a day since it's getting late for me. I wouldn't want my nurse to catch me awake at this hour even though making up an excuse will be pretty easy for me. Haha! Good night to me, I guess!
