24 adventure

Jaemin's parents went to the hospital after receiving a call from Jaemin's doctor regarding his treatment and therapy. They agreed to let Jaemin received therapy, therefore enabling his doctor to schedule him.

His parents stopped by his room, Jaemin felt happy to finally meet his parents again after weeks of not being able to. Jaemin lost count of the days already. But it didn't matter to him anymore. He was sad that they barely had an hour of time together, he felt sad knowing that he probably has to wait for a few more weeks before his parents would visit him again. But he didn't say anything. He doesn't want to seem needy. He doesn't want to be called and seen that way.

He knows they are busy, but he can't help but wish for them to spend a bit more time together.

Jaemin's doctor finally scheduled him for his first therapy. It thrills the brunet, but it also scares him. He heard that some therapies were painful. The idea is enough to frighten him.

Renjun went to the hospital a few hours earlier, after Jaemin asked if he could come and accompany him. He can never say no to the boy. Jaemin told him if they can look around the hospital, since he wasn't really able to do it by his own. He wanted to look around in hopes of calming his nerves down. Renjun didn't dislike the idea, anyways. Considering that they spent most of their time inside Jaemin's room and nothing more.

The boy stopped in his tracks upon reaching the front door of Jaemin's room. He peeks over the small window by the door as he knocks before sliding the door open. Jaemin was holding his diary, reading. The sight made Renjun chuckle. Jaemin was sitting on his bed, dressed up in his clothing and not the hospital gown. The brunet was gently swinging his legs while he's reading.

It was an adorable sight indeed.

Renjun slid the door close, sauntering towards the bed where his best friend is.

"Good morning, Nana."

He flashes a smile. Jaemin looked up from his diary, flashing the same smile as he closed his diary and shove it back inside his bag.

"Good morning, Renjun!"

Jaemin hopped off his bed, causing him to stumble while Renjun rushed to his side to assist him. It made Jaemin laugh, while Renjun sighed in panic.

"Be more careful next time, Nana. You shouldn't be hopping like that."

"Heh. I'm so sorry about that. I felt a bit too excited to see you arrive so early for me. I really appreciate your efforts, Injun."

The brunet beamed in excitement, carefully detaching himself from Renjun's grip.

"So, shall we start our little adventure?"
