8 Aami: Meeting BTS

The weather is cold, wet, dim, dark yet somehow it's soothing my heart, like a balm.

Mr Hariko : (smiling) Ahh.. We've arrived. You ready to surprise them, Aami.

Aami : I guess so. I mean I have no other choice, Sir.

[Who am I kidding?I'm so not ready for this. I hope everything works out fine.]

Mr Hariko : Wait here a second. I'll be back.

I get out of the car and walk up to the entrance gate of the housing center. The house screamed luxury. I see swimming pool, a beautiful garden and a basketball court.

Mr Hariko told me that the members had the choice to move separately and have their own places but they choose to move in together, on the pretext that they couldn't stay away from each other for a long time. Their bond had grown stronger having spent many years living together.

Currently the location of the dorm was kept a a secret to keep obsessed fans/ saesangs away. He further informed me that they have been getting anonymous death threats via letters, phone calls and media forums asking them to disband.

The police have been investigating about the threats and with the accident, it has come to their notice that the enemy is a strong one. This was one of the reasons why Mr Hariko didn't want me to be involved in the case. He said that he was expecting something like the accident and the company was aware that the boys' lives were in danger.

The elevator accident was a second flailed attempt. The first was an attempted murder. They were aiming for Jimin. The bodyguards however were able to save him that time. The company is taking necessary precautions for BTS safety. Mr Hariko even gave them the choice to disband but they refused and decided to keep going. He spoke like a proud father stating that they were fearless and strong.

After sometime Mr Hariko comes out and leads me to the room where the BTS members were gathered.

Mr Hariko : So boys!!! I have a surprise for you. This is Aami and she's moving in with you all.

BTS :  .....

Mr Hariko : ......

Aami :  .......

[Dead silence. I see them look at me dumbstruck. Then they turn their faces to look at each other.]

Jimin : What??????!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Aami : Hey, nice to meet you all, again.

[I knew it. They were more than surprised. I could see it in their faces. They were silent for a long time as though they were trying to process the information. All of them just stared at me wide eyed.]

Mr Hariko : It's due to some security measures. The police will have to make some inquiries so she would be staying here until everything clears up. Well, I know it's a surprise but hey... I'm sure you guys can accommodate her.

Aami : umm.. so.. Uhh.. Yeah.

[I've never been in such a situation before. What should I say?]

Namjoon : (shyly) Aami, umm..Welcome to our humble adobe. Make yourself at home.

Jhope: (confident) Dude.. What are you even saying? Hey!!! Aami..... Thank You for saving my life. You are my hope. I'm your hope. I'm Jhope. Nice to meet you.

Yoongi: (timid) Hey... Aami, umm.. Hi.

Jungkook: (shyly) H..h..h..hi..hi

Taehyung : (excited) Hiiiiiiiiiiii, You're gonna stay with us ? Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!! so excited. Welcome, welcome!!

Jin: (flirty) Hi, I'm World Wide Handsome, Jin, you know. Wait why are you wearing a mask? Is something wrong with your face?

Jimin: .......

Aami : Ummm...

[What is happening?? Wow are the boys really like this in real life as well.... I thought it was just in front of the camera. So they ARE really like this...]

Mr Hariko : Boys settle down. Aami would like to have her privacy. She's going to keep wearing the mask just like... Jimin. So any further questions?

Aami : Yeah.

Mr Hariko : okay, its already late . You can get acquainted with her tomorrow morning. Aami, follow me. I'll show you the room.

Aami : Okay sir, good night, guys.

Mr Hariko : They are just in surprise mode right now  so I believe it's better to give them sometime to cool down their brains. Make yourself at home. If you need anything, don't hesitate to contact me.

Aami : Thank you, Sir. You've been so good to me. I.. I..

Mr Hariko : (smiling) No, thank you. Good night, Take care.

Aami : (smiling) Good night, Sir.

[I just can't believe that this is actually happening.]

Today marks a new chapter in my life.
