13 Aami: Day 2 with BTS

Alarm beeps. I wake up. Just as usual, I get dressed to go for work.

I skipped breakfast again, saying that I was in a hurry. It was a busy day at the restaurant. Customers flocked in to have their favourite dishes.

I almost got fired for getting into an argument with a customer who refused to pay the bill stating that he found a strand of hair in his dish. When I threatened to call the police, he ran away throwing the dish at me.

Whoever said that being a waitress is not at all challenging had never encountered rude customers.Luckily the guy got caught and was handed to the police.

When I returned to the dorm, it was already past midnight. I thought that the members would have hit the bed by then. My heart sank when I saw them , dead tired with their sleepy eyes waiting for me. I wasn't expecting them to do that.

Namjoon seemed relieved to see me, "Aami, where were you all this time?"

"None of us had your cell phone number, so we couldn't contact you." says Yoongi oppa holding out his phone.

Hoseok oppa was examining me from my head to toe, "Are you okay? You are not hurt, are you?"

" Aish, I thought something bad must have happened. Don't scare us like that."Jin oppa shouts at me in a concerned tone.

" Yeah, I'm okay. I'm fine." I tell them trying my best to hold back the tears.

Taehyung and Jungkook who were sleeping on the couch suddenly woke up and ran towards me.

" Oh.. You're okay. We got really scared." says Taehyung cupping my face onto his soft palms, cross examining me to see if I was hurt anywhere.

Jungkook didn't ask me anything but I could read the concern in the eyes.

"I'm so sorry guys. I should've informed you. I didn't expect you all to wait for me. I'm absolutely fine. " I tell them teary eyed.

"Ahh don't cry. If you cry, JK and Taehyung, will also start crying and you know that's worse because these two will flood the house and we will have to clean the whole mess. " Jin oppa says trying to brighten up the mood.

I smile and later we exchange numbers and head to sleep.

The boys really did surprise me today. Their concern and care felt like an anchor that had the capacity to save many drowning souls. No wonder their "army " truly loved and adored them. Maybe this is a start to something beautiful afterall.
