1 Like a Female Protagonist

Inside the classroom, Year 4A students of English Language major is having their pre-finals for the first semester. The classroom was void of any noise except for the occasional muffled sounds of sneezing or coughing.

At the last seat beside the window sat a slender figure with long straight black hair focusing on answering the questions on her test paper. She looked mediocre like a typical bystander with her nerdy get-up.

Her long eyelashes and alluring phoenix eyes was obscured by the dark-rimmed glasses. She has a cute button nose, white porcelain skin, and long hair that was never tied up. She would sometimes bite or lick her lower lip, her perfect white teeth and pink tongue would occasionaly peek out. It's a pity though that she is in the last seat with no deskmate to witness this ravishing scene.

The exam lasted for two hours with the faculty-in-charge strictly monitoring.

When the alocated time is finished, the students almost spontaneously rise up to pass their test papers. As soon as they got out, the scene immediately got rowdy with the students forming in groups, asking their friends or their outstanding classmates what's their answers in specific questions.

The most famous student in their block is surrounded by male students which would always give her snacks and drinks after every last exams. They treated her like a celebrity especially because she was a beauty and a very polite and a good model student at that.

Her name is Stacey Madrigal. A commoner with beauty and brain who got a scholarship and enrolled in the top elite university in Country D.  A fourth year student as well as the second placer in their year and was able to be included in the top 50 outstanding students in the whole university.

She was like the typical female protagonists in a story who overcomes anything on her way by being patient and diligent. The perks of having good looks also added on that account.

Well, the truth is...

She is not that beautiful.

She does have pair of alluring peach blossom eyes, luscious lips, but her nose is just so so. Her nose is slightly flat but not unsightly enough with its bridge which was slightly high. Her skin has a healthy wheat color and her small hands were also rough because of manual labor. She is not the only child in the family, she has one younger brother who is already on his last year in high school, an elementary graduate mother who sold varied kind of goods on the road, and a drunkard father.

Her looks was only passable but her aura was like a sunshine after a storm. Added with her polite, innocent, and demure personality which she maintained for almost four years, she was treated like a goddess especially by the men population.

Being popular in terms of her brains, face, and personality does not mean that she is exempted to rumors. For the past three years, she was rumored to be the girlfriend of the basketball captain. Not only that, rumors also said that she has an ambiguous relationship with the vice-president of literary club, school doctor and twins of the engineering department. No one knows if it's true or not, but what the whole university knew is the fact that she is friends with all of them.

Stacey Madrigal was basically untouchable especially to bullies since she has the whole 'harem' backing her up.
