1 Quirk Doctor

A small boy, maybe 4, was walking with his mother. They didn't look alike at all. She had shoulder-length light brown hair and similarly colored eyes. She looked almost too ordinary. The boy with her had bright white hair and icy blue eyes. He looked excited.

"This doctor is gonna tell me my quirk?"

"Yes, he is. The doctors here are very smart and can figure out what a person's quirk is without seeing it."

"That's really cool!"

The boy held his mother's hand as they walked over to a desk with a woman behind it.

"What can I do for you two?"

"We're here for Doctor Nori. My son is going to learn what his quirk is."

The woman behind the desk stood from her chair and looked over to the boy.

"That's really exciting. I bet you'll have a really useful quirk."

The woman sent a smile at the boy and sat back down to look at a computer in front of her.

"Name?"

"Yamashita, Takuya."

"Ok, just give me a second... There, Doctor Nori is ready to see you now."

She waved to a door on the left side of the room.

"Third door on the left, it'll have a nameplate if he isn't waiting outside for you."

"Thank you."

The mother led the boy, Takuya, to the door and opened it. He could see an older man in a coat smiling their way.

"It's good to see you, Mrs. Yamashita. I believe this is the first time I'll be seeing young Takuya, correct?"

"You're right, and Takuya is very excited."

The mother and child walked to the doctor and went inside the room. There were three chairs against one wall and a paper-covered bed beside them. There was also a swivel chair next to a computer on a desk next to a sink. Posters about health and superheroes were everywhere.

"Mom said you are very smart and can tell me what my quirk is."

The doctor looked at Takuya and smiled.

"That is part of the truth. I can tell you if you have a quirk and then we can work from there."

Takuya was a little disappointed but still smiled.

"If you could take a seat on the bed over there and take off your shoes."

Takuya jumped up on the bed and slipped his shoes off. His mother sat in one of the chairs next to him.

The doctor then slid his chair towards Takuya and grabbed his foot, lifting it.

"With my quirk, I can see like an X-ray machine..." He said to Takuya,"... I can see all your bones and the like."

Takuya wondered what that had to do with quirks. Maybe a quirk was a bone? Then the doctor smiled.

"You've got a quirk."

Takuya was a little confused. The doctor slid his chair to the computer and started typing something.

"You see Takuya, quirks are like a mutation, and those with this mutation are missing a small bone in their little toe. So I look at your bones and I can tell if you have a quirk or not."

That made more sense to Takuya.

"I can't determine your quirk specifically, but I have a friend who can. I just had to make sure you had one as to not waste anyone's time."

Suddenly a knock came from the door and it was opened. I very small man walked in and looked at Doctor Nori.

"Doctor Okawa had a quirk that lets him see what other people's quirks are. But since his quirk is so useful he gets passed around to different places a lot, luckily for you, he was here this week."

The small doctor walked up to Takuya and looked through him. He gave off a small smile.

"Pure Manipulation? Interesting." He looked at Takuya's mother, "Ma'am, what is your quirk? What is his father's quirk?"

"I can heal small wounds, and I'm only his adoptive mother, we don't know his mother or father's quirks."

The small doctor looked thoughtful for a moment before continuing, "His quirk gives him the ability to manipulate anything or anyone it seems. Time, Space, Plants, Animals, there doesn't seem to be anything he can't manipulate. The only problem is that he doesn't know how. He has to learn how to manipulate things before he can perform the manipulation. This is a problem as you don't just know how to manipulate time or space, he would have to experience it first."

With that, the small doctor left. Then Doctor Nori spoke up.

"I'll write down the information and quirk name on his file. You are now free to leave if you want."

Takuya and his mother left the doctor and went home.
