Jimin had just gotten home from grad school and was hanging out with his best friend Jung Hoseok. He seriously loved that crack head. He was always there for him and always made him feel good about himself.
"Wanna vape?" Hoseok asked.
"Yeah I'm bored." Jimin laughed.
Jimin reached for the Juul and took a big inhale of smoke.
"Grad school has been so stressful. I swear my calculus teacher is determined to dig my grave with all this fucking homework." Jimin grumbled.
"You have Mrs. Chong right?"
"Yeah. She's horrible." Jimin sighed breathing in more smoke and exhaling.
"Let's de stress you. We'll go to the park or something anything has to be better than sitting around." Hoseok laughed.
"Yeah let's do it." Jimin smiled.
The walk to the park was so peaceful compared to grad school. Jimin couldn't help but feel they were being watched. It began to feel very uncomfortable until he saw a shadow behind a tree. He blinked and it was gone. He seriously needed to get some more sleep. He couldn't remember the last great sleep he had and being stressed with grad school wasn't helping matters at all. He kept walking until Hoseok said, "I'll go get some more vapes for us. I'll be right back just stay here so I can find you."
Jimin seriously considered asking him to stay but dismissed the thought and sat at the bench waiting. He decided to play a game on his phone to pass the time until his eyes starting hurting from not wear his contacts.
"What the fuck is taking him so long?" Jimin grumbled. That was when he saw it again the same stupid shadow he saw before, he seriously needed to sleep more. When he blinked his eyes it was gone yet again causing Jimin to internally groan. What the fuck is that shadow? Was it real? Jimin shook his head sighing loudly at his thoughts.
"Hey Jimin I'm back! I got your strawberry flavored vape that you like. Sorry I took so long the line was so fucking long." Hoseok said.
"Thanks Hobi. Let's walk around and vape." Jimin smiled.
"Ok." Hoseok smiled.
When they were walking Jimin heard footsteps directly behind him but when he glanced back no one was there. Jimin was really beginning to consider sleeping more or taking a nap. Anything to stop this freakish stuff that was happening in the park. Hoseok was completely oblivious to Jimin and was pointing out funny landmarks and pretty flowers. Jimin smiled and giggled at Hoseok awing at a pure white rose. He had to admit it was a very pretty rose the white was so perfect and pretty.
"The rose is so pretty it's so pure and perfect." Jimin smiled.
"I know. It's so beautiful. White roses are so incredibly rare. It's actually said to repel all evil but then again that's a myth." Hoseok said.
"I know." Jimin smiled but decided to pick it off to carry with him.
"Nice. I was about to do the same." Hoseok laughed.
"Excuse me could you help me?" A tall stranger asked.
Hoseok and Jimin both shared a glimpse at each other before shrugging.
"How can we help you?" Jimin asked.
"My dog's leash snapped and I can't find her. Can you help me look for her?" The stranger asked.
"Sure I'll look in the bushes. You can go look around Hobi." Jimin smiled. Hoseok smiled before heading to the fountains to look.
"Put the rose down." The stranger said.
"No. Why should I? It's so beautiful. I love it."
"I said put the damn rose down." The stranger snapped.
"No. Why are you so keen on making me drop it?" Jimin asked.
"Humans are impossible..." The stranger mumbled under his breath.
"Drop the rose." The stranger said in an impatient voice.
."No. You should hold it. It's remarkable." Jimin said touching the stranger's hand with the rose.
"GOD DAMMIT!" The stranger hissed at the deep welts appearing on his hand.
"What the fuck?" Jimin asked.
"HOBI!!!!" Jimin screamed running away from the stranger.
"Jimin what's wrong?"
"No time. That stranger isn't who we think he is."
"What do you mean?"
"That myth you said is no fucking myth. I touched the stranger's hand with the rose and it burned him."
"Holy fuck. I think we need to go to a library to read more about the rose. Let's go." Hoseok said running with Jimin out of the park and to the car. The stranger suddenly appeared in front of the car making them both scream in fear.
"Drive!!" Jimin screamed.
"No need to tell me twice!" Hoseok said slamming on the gas petal running over the stranger.
"What the fuck is happening?" Jimin asked.
"I don't know Jimin. But for the love of god don't let go of that rose." Hoseok said.
"Yeah. It's apparently a weakness to him. I'm going to do a google search on what the white rose protects from." Jimin said.

Vampires are common folklore. They are detailed on depending on human blood and having the appearance of a human except their teeth are razor sharp fangs. It is unclear whether vampires can adapt to make their teeth look more human but common research into folklore suggests they can. Their weakness is the rare white rose if they get touched by it it will burn them severely. It is said once you burn a vampire they can't heal it with their normal self healing powers they have to wait like a full blooded human for it to heal. There are different statuses in the Vampire society. There are the top few which are pure bloods. Pure bloods means they are purely vampire. There is absolutely no trace of hybrids or humans in their bloodlines. There are so few of them because a lot can't survive on hybrid blood. They rely on pure human blood. Next are the half bloods or hybrids. These can be a mixture of human and vampires or even another creature. It means there are humans in your bloodline. They are very common much more so than pure bloods. They have a diet of human food and hybrid blood. Next and the lowest are the turned. These are much more complex than pure bloods or hybrids. This means that a vampire bit a human and they survived. They normally turn into a vampire in 5 days. It's a grueling process and is very painful.

Pure blood Vampires: Immortal, blood-sucking creatures. Vampires are real, they exist in every city and every state.... on the continents and throughout the world. These creatures are of the darkest parts of hell. They have the power and ability to control your mind, seduce your spirit, adapt to sunlight, and render themselves completely invisible. They are deadly if they go feral. Crosses however won't repel them. Neither sunlight or a stake to the heart will kill them due to their healing powers. Their healing powers would make it to where they would heal instantly. But what's the worst about them is the bloodlust -- they need fresh, pure human blood to survive. They are around people and hybrids 24/7, so you won't know it's a vampire until it's too late."

The most defining characteristic of vampires is their unnatural, insatiable need for pure human blood. A hybridization of a plant and vampiric blood led to plants with a similar, voracious hunger for blood, amongst other things. Human blood is needed as it is a part of their biology and genetic makeup. Blood is needed to stay alive. But doing without it can cause a vampire to become extremely weak and rabid, though some types of vampires will instead become stronger and more vampiric also known as feral. However, they will still become weak after too long without blood. It is unknown if the one who is fed upon may or may not have a decreased lifespan but the vampire quenches their thirst. Blood itself is needed to keep a vampire healthy; it is suggested that vampires are able to drain a warmblooded creature's "life force" to replenish their own but it is highly doubted by many mythologists.
All vampires look alike and distinctly different from unaffected people, as they have a pointed face with pointed ears, shallow cheeks, single chin, white hair and grey, scaly skin. Most vampires only have four teeth - two upper curved fangs and two lower smaller, their eyes are more demonic to look at and they look scary. It is said that in their true form, vampires look more monstrous, nothing like a human but more of a demon.
Vampires would often choose to hide their natural appearance using spells of glamour which would make them all different to look at with the exceptions being pale skin, eye colour and beardless appearance as well as attractiveness. In this form, their skin is flawless and reflective; their nails like glass; and their hair will grow back in their sleep if it is cut. As they lose all natural fluids, with the exception of blood and reproductive fluids, vampires are fertile and have bred with humans and hybrids for many generations.
They do not age physically (instead becoming more "statuesque" as they age developing stronger powers). Their features are refined and perfected (including their voices), rendering them supernaturally beautiful to lure in prey. Being technically immortal, vampires can be noticed by their lack of body heat and a heartbeat. They do not require oxygen, water, or food to live but require at least 95% human blood to survive.
Some vampires have retractable claws in which some can only injure their enemy, while others can provide it as an extra weapon and the longest claw can break through most shields.
A vampire has empty blood vessels in its mouth that allows it to drink blood to the speed of about 120 to 840 ml per second without having to suck. A vampire who is trained can kill with its fangs and even drink enough to let the victim live. Vampires have upper curved and straight lower but these fangs are retractable, If a vampire bites by only its upper fangs, he/she can drink blood without killing the victim, the vampire needs only to squeeze its fangs to completely kill the victim. Biting by the lower fangs can convey diseases to the victim which (if the vampire is an old one) may be vampirism virus.
The eyes of a vampire have evolved to be very powerful. The iris contains special bioluminescent bacteria that appear black in light but in complete darkness, they glow bright yellow. The iris is specially equipped to change size unevenly providing great night and day vision. The iris is usually red in color due to the blood present in it but if the vampire starves, all the blood in the eyes disappears to give life detection. If the vampire uses his powers to see something very far, the white of eyes will turn yellow. Older vampires can toggle them on and off at will in order to appear human or more threatening. Vampire tears are made of blood and a crying vampire appears vastly more terrifying with red eyes.
Vampires possess the sight, smell and hearing
of a bat or werewolf, they possess the ability to hear a spider sew its web or hear a humans' heartbeat from miles when hungry and even see dust; they possess a bat-like sonar system which gives them the power to feel everything, even without eyes or see through walls. Vampires can see beyond the normal spectrum and see the stars in a cloudy weather or their prey clearly from miles. They have an enhanced taste for blood which feels like sweet nectar and can feel everything around. But vampires can still feel the taste of other things so it is not a good joke to not give a vampire cake because they can't feel it.
Not only is the taste of human blood much stronger for vampires, those with experience can even tell the following about the person it came from: general age range, gender, blood type, general diet, purity status, and the presence of adrenaline and drugs. Despite the fact that vampires experience less blood flow in their epidermal tissues, their nerve endings are actually much more sensitive than a human's. While this greatly improves their balance and reflex action, it also makes physical sensations such as touch, heat, cold and the feeling of water quite uncomfortable for them (this lead to the myth that vampires cannot cross running water which is quite true if the water is very cold or hot and the current is strong). Pain, however, is history; mundane weapons inflict neither damage nor pain on them.

But can be severely burned by the white rose.
A vampire, besides having the power to shapeshift into bats, wolves and rats even has the power to turn to mist or fog. Vampires can travel from one place to another by turning to a cloud of bats at will and even look more or less scary by simply changing their appearance through their powers.
Vampires are often associated with vampire bats, as they're both nocturnal, have fangs, drink blood and are the main vectors of the human vampirism virus. Vampires can in fact, not turn into a bat but mostly a cloud of bats. A vampire's life force is so powerful that it can interact with the Earth's magnetic fields and loosely bind themselves in clouds.

"What?" Jimin asked in a hushed voice.
"Look discretely. 2nd bookshelf."
Jimin used his peripheral vision and saw the stranger with 10 other 'people'.
"We need to get out of here." Jimin said.
"You got the rose?" Hoseok asked.
"Yeah." Jimin whispered.
"Let's hurry." Jimin said quickly grabbing the book and checking out.
"Jimin lets go." Hoseok urged.
"Ok. Thank you m'aam."
"No problem. Have a nice night now."
They quickly hurried to the car and drove off.
"Do you want to see a movie? That movie you've been wanting to see is out."
"Yeah I'd like that." Jimin grinned.
