Chapter 1

Ha my name is Lee Im a high schooler in Seoul but I'm visiting my grandmother today

As I was about to cross the road I was almost hit by a truck but I jumped up to avoid it

When I entered the bus the whole place when silent

Ha I wonder why, I always put on a cheerful smile outside but inside I'm nervous as hell

When I departed from the bus I went straight to my grandma's house, then I saw some strings hanging on the top of the door so I touched it out of curiosity

"hello human" I saw a man with horns looking down at me in a place filled with bones

"Who are you" I feigned fake confidence but my whole body was filled with fear

Wasn't I at grandma's place what am I doing here

"Ha silence I guess I'll have to use you as a vessel for now" he smirked before he snapped his fingers and I was back at grandmas

Then I start having a splitting headache

"Ahhhhhh" I scream as I clutch my head

My grandma suddenly came and instructed the maid to take me to my room

"Are you alright dear?" she said with her voice filled with worry

"Yes I'm alright" I flashed a smile at her as I still felt a tingling pain in my head

"Alright dear there are painkillers beside you if you need them"

"Alright," I said with a tired smile

As she left my room my smile immediately dropped from my face

Oh what was that was I dreaming outside, yeah it has to be a dream why would that happen in real life

As I fell asleep I suddenly appeared in a wide room where plenty of people were waited

"Finally everyone is here now we can start the first event" A man suddenly appeared out of thin air

What the heck is happening here

"In this event, you have to kill at least one person to move to the next event, the time starts now you have two hours, "he said

as he disappeared

Soon many people started fighting I ran to the end of the room to not getting involved

I saw a short girl with orange hair running towards me as she aimed for a punch I quickly dodged and kicked her in the back

"what the hell is going on here" I asked as I maintained my distance

"Don't tell me you don't know what's going on here, this is a battle for a book which has the power to make anything written in it come true whoever completes all the events and remains the last one standing wins" She then points down

Suddenly I feel overwhelmed by the weight crushing me and causing me to fall and unable to move my body

"Prepare to die," she said as she increased the weight

I feel the bones in my body breaking as she increases it

Damn it

"Let me take over from here" Suddenly I see the man standing on the pile of bones

"No thanks" Then suddenly I start having a headache

Damn what is this

I use all my strength to pick up a dagger on the ground and throw it at the girl

The dagger meets the girl's leg causing her to fall over

I suddenly feel the weight go away as I make my way to the girl's body, I check if she is still alive but turns out she is dead

"Damn.... I killed someone"I say with pain in my voice

"Great idea using my poisoned dagger on her," An unknown boy said with a grin

"The first event is over those who didn't kill people will die you are free to go now," he said with a crazy smile

I suddenly appeared back to my room

my grandma suddenly came rushing to me "Oh dear the maid told me you weren't anywhere to be found" she said with worry

"I just went for a walk" I flashed a bright smile at her

"Thank goodness alright take care of yourself," she said as she left

Damn damn, damn it all what the hell was that!!!?!?

Did I kill someone, am I a murderer shit!

And I almost died there too

I feel tears well up in my eyes

I lie down as I decide to drown my sadness in sleep
