18 Special Occupations

Dante entered the large slave traders and took a look around. This is his first time entering one after all.

Standing in uniform rows around the edge were hundreds of slaves of various shapes and sizes. But Dante could clearly tell that the level of these slaves were much higher than that of the previous small shops outside.

Mixed between the mall there were even some core building cultivators or decent physiques.

Even the beauties inside the hall were of top quality. Each could easily become top supermodels if they were placed on earth.

And while there were some uglier ones, each had an impressive physique.

However this was impressive only for the outside world. The highest physique that Dante saw was Rank 6. As for Rank 5 Physiques they would immediately become slaves for powerful forces if they were even captured.

Dante walked to the front desk only to see a cute young girl standing serving customers.

''Hello, what can I do for you today?'' Her adorable voice was heard in Dantes ears. Judging from the chain around her neck however she was clearly one of the slaves here.

''I want to see a list of the slaves on sale.'' Dante didn't waste any time and asked to see all the slaves there. He came in here today for a large scale purchase, so he didn't waste time asking for specifics.

''Right away!''

Dante promptly held a large book in his hands containing the names and information of all the slaves available.

Judging from a brief count there were already hundreds of thousands of slaves available. Most of which had low ranking physiques and were mortals however there were thousands of bone refining cultivators and hundreds of spirit tempering cultivators.

As for the physiques, they were mediocre with only a dozen with rank 6 physiques and a few hundred with Rank 7 Physiques. The rest only had Rank 8 or 9.

But for Dante, it didn't matter that much. What drew his attention was the Special Occupations section of the book.

A long line of names under various titles, alchemists, formation masters, mages, manufacturers, chefs and many others.

As the name suggests, Formation Masters can build various arrays while mages are masters at spell casting. And Manufacturers are basically the equivalent to engineers on earth.

But Mages and Manufacturers are what have the most potential for Dante. Because he is able to implant the puppet techniques into both of their minds!

Mages are able to use the spells to create living puppets for Dante, while Engineers can produce normal puppets using various spiritual materials.

But each occupation had its own benefits for Dante.

All of the loyalty will still belong to Dante, and he would also receive 99% of the feedback from the puppets. Whereas the mages and Manufacturers would only receive 1% of the energy from the puppets they create.

But this alone is good enough for them. If they create enough then their cultivation speed would be like a rocket.

And Dante was naturally happy that he wouldn't need to do everything personally. He had to cultivate still and didn't have all of his time to create puppets. And despite the limitation that they can only produce puppets below their level, Dante can easily fix this limitation by piling up pills on them.

As for the other occupations, Chefs can produce food with a lot of spiritual energy in it, that can boost peoples cultivation. As for Formation Masters, they have a unique use for Dante.

With the puppets that Dante creates using Various Materials, they don't have real flesh. Meaning Formation Masters are able to inscribe formations onto the bodies of the puppets themselves.

This could be killing formations, battle formations, or Spirit gathering formations. Anything.

Although the slaves with these occupations were useful for Dante, their number was pitifully low among all of the slaves.

Not even a hundred in total.

Dante walked up to the counter and faced the cute girl.

''I want them all.'' A simple statement, yet a shocking reaction.

All of the shoppers in the hall turned their heads towards the young Dante, wondering who would be crazy enough to utter this sentence.

100,000 slaves… special occupations and decent physiques. The cost is easily a million heavenly notes and yet this boy wanted them all.

Even the mortal slaves that are being sold each have a strong body or are beautiful. Some even have special Rank 9 Physiques that are useful for having children.

They are especially expensive among the higher level cultivators who are looking for heirs.

But Dante didn't even flinch. This cost is nothing to him. He had hundreds of millions of Heavenly Notes in his own personal collection, let alone those provided to him by the family.

Ignoring the reactions of those around him, Dante urged the slave traders to hurry up and left to a big assembly hall in the back.

People who mass buy slaves almost always carry spiritual items that can carry living people. Even if their size is small they still commonly need somewhere private to expose it.

Standing in front of Dante were the thousands of people fitting snugly together. Each had various looks of fear, excitement or trepidation.

However Dante didn't look at any of that. Rather he called those with special occupations forward and quickly made them into puppets.

Next within the first hour, Dante filled the mages and Manufacturers with powerful pills. Raising each of their cultivation to the peak of core building state or even a few stepped into the fairy state.

There were only 10 mages and 5 Manufacturers within all the slaves who were bought. 4 of which reached the Fairy state whereas the rest reached the peak of the core building.

Next Dante set each of their tasks. He provided each of the manufacturers with enough money to go and purchase as many Spiritual Materials as possible, while the alchemists were sent to buy Medicines and various equipment they would need.

Dante wanted to mass produce as much medicine as possible to raise the 80,000 mortals among his slaves to at least the body refining realm.

The chefs were naturally sent to go purchase various foods and they would be in charge of feeding the mortals powerful spiritual foods.

Even if puppets don't need to eat, they can still get the benefits of eating.

Finally the mages were in charge of changing all of the people here into puppets for Dante. Then the powerful warriors among the bunch of slaves will be sent out to purchase more slaves for Dante.

The days until the Inheritance opening passed quickly. Over this period Dante had collected another 20,000 slaves including another 50 of all sorts of occupations.

But rather than use these occupation slaves to actually fulfil their occupation, Dante made them start to teach the other puppets their techniques.

Dante himself had successfully cultivated to the third stage of the Fairy State on his main cultivation base.

And on the last day before the inheritance opened Dante felt a rush of power flooding towards his Body.

The sea of energy that was produced by his second cultivation base swarmed together circling itself forming a small tornado.

In the eye of the tornado a small orb was starting to form, it's pattern was golden with miniscule human figures imprinted on it. If you looked closely you would see that the countless imprints were of all the puppets Dante had formed thus far.

The stronger the puppet the larger the imprint of their body.

Finally a golden aura of heaven flooded into the centre of the orb before emitting an incredible pressure onto Dantes surroundings.

The pressure was even more terrible than some spirit state cultivators.

This was officially the second core that had been made in Dantes body.
