8 First Handmade Puppet

Dante was naturally interested in the Highmans Physique. After all it was incredibly rare and the benefits that could be provided to Dante after he made him into a puppet… thinking about it made Dante drool.

But that was still far away, there was still 3 months until the next competition.

Right now Dantes main focus as the conversation ended was to manufacture his Puppet using the Demonic Blood Wood. Unfortunately Dante wasn't qualified to join the conversation between the higher ups in the clan just yet.

Despite his status as heir, until it is officially solidified and he proves himself he won't be qualified to partake in the discussions.

So rather than waste his time waiting around he returned to his residence.

Dante quickly called a flying mount out of his spiritual space and flew towards his house. Well what he called a house could easily be described as a palace.

Its size reached hundreds of metres tall and thousands of metres wide with countless servants bustling within. Each servant was from the Armstrong family originally, and are selected out of some of the most talented among the branch families. Each of their physiques are no lower than Rank 5.

Although it might not seem much compared to the genius that Dante is in contact with, but a Rank 5 physique in any sect in the continent is worthy of rapid cultivation.

But in the Armstrong Family they are only worthy of serving the future Heir which is naturally not a disgrace.

Dante approached the majestic palace with huge pillars keeping the foundation stable, the materials each inscribed with countless formations ranging from defensive arrays to spirit gathering arrays.

The flow of aura is one of the main reasons why the servants are willing to work there. The aura within the palace is thousands of times the outside world.

Dante quickly returned to his cultivation room in the very centre of the palace, its walls made of rare cultivation materials causing the spiritual energy to condense into pouring liquids and collected in a small pool that lies in the centre.

Without hesitating Dante took out his Demonic blood wood and began the construction of the puppet. The production of puppets seems simple in writing but extremely complex in action. Each piece needs to be carved with perfect precision forming a fully functioning machine. '

As Dante was fully entranced in his work a full 9 days quickly passed by.

''Finally!!'' Dante couldn't help but cry with joy as he put the final wooden piece into place and stepped back to admire his creation.

Stood in front of him was what looked like an extremely handsome teenager with deep black eyes and hair. Its chiselled six pack of abs showed domineering power and the defined arms contrasted with the thin figure of the puppet.

But there was one anomaly, an open hatch in the center of his chest. This is the final step for the completion of the puppet. Dante needs to pick a suitable material for the core or rather the heart of the puppet.

If the material is of low quality then the ranking of the physique would drastically decline but if the object used is of high quality it can even raise the physique to a new level potentially making a peerless Rank 2 Demonic Physique.

After fully considering his options, Dante finally decided on what he should use as the heart of the puppet. He chose the spiritual core of a Saint.

After completing the Core building Stage, each cultivator will form a core of spiritual energy within their body. In which their entire lives worth of cultivation is generally stored.

While the heart of the puppet generally limits its future achievements, the core of a saint is different. After the advancement from an Ancient to a saint, the spiritual core no longer needs to contain all of the energy of a Saint.

Rather it can be treated as a weapon, as a saint is able to send the core outside of their body to fight. But the major advantage is that the core can constantly absorb more spiritual energy to advance.

Despite it taking hundreds or even thousands of years to evolve, this led to the situation of a few saints having the power to combat Antiques by using an Antique equivalent core.

This undoubtedly shows the rarity of the Saint core. The only reason that Dante was able to get one was that on his 5th birthday party it was presented by a fellow Antique family in order to show their favour.

As the core went into the puppets chest, Dante quickly closed the hatch making the appearance look the exact same as an ordinary person.

Next a magical scene happened. From the pool of spiritual energy in the center of the room, a steady flow of energy poured directly into the Puppet's body. It's previously wooden looking skin turned soft like a normal person and its eyes and body seemed more flexible.

The only thing that didn't change was it's indifferent eyes.

''I have seen the master'' The puppet immediately fell to his knees and bowed towards Dante.

''Don't call me the Master, Call me the Young Master. From now on you will be called Samuel'' Dante quickly corrected him. If he were to allow his puppet to call him the Master then it might be seen as an attempt to outrule his father the patriarch.

''Yes Young Master''

''Good next go and cultivate up to the Fairy Spirit State'' Dante ordered. After all the puppet might have extremely high physical strength and potential due to the materials used to manufacture it however its current strength is nothing more than the first stage of body refining.

It would still take at least a couple of years to reach the Fairy State. The reason for this is actually quite simple. Dante didn't use any of the materials properties to increase the Puppets Cultivation, rather he focused on solely increasing its potential.

And the dedication seemed useful, the puppets physique reached the utmost peak of Rank 2. Although not comparable to Dantes Rank 1 Physique, it has already passed the quality of Violet's physique and even the Highmans Double physique.

It was truly a successful creation.
