The first time Qin Chu and Huo Mian interacted was half a month later.
One afternoon, Qin Chu came back late from basketball, and the cafeteria was already empty.
Huo Mian, on the other hand, had overslept. It was late when she got there.
The canteen was about to clear the table for a break.
The two of them walked in one after another.
"Is there any food left?"
They actually asked in unison.
Qin Chu and Huo Mian looked at each other.
"There's only one left. Why don't… the two of you share a portion?"
The cafeteria auntie was also amazing. She scooped out the remaining food and placed it on a plate.
Qin Chu frowned; he wasn't used to eating with others.
He wanted to go out for a bite, but when he looked at his watch, it was less than 25 minutes away from the afternoon class. If he went out to eat, it would definitely be too late.
Huo Mian had slept for the whole afternoon, so she was a little hungry.
