"Nothing," Huo Mian put her hands in her white lab coat and looked down, her black-rimmed glasses covering her eyes.
Liu Ze really didn't know what she was thinking about.
"I saw the news."
"So?" Huo Mian tilted her head at him.
"I wanted to console you, but after seeing you, I changed my mind."
"Why?"
"Because you're a strong woman, unlike those spoiled women with Princess Syndrome that whine about nothing."
"You think too much of me, I'm just an ordinary person."
"I trust my instincts," Liu Ze replied.
"Stop pretending to be my friend, I don't like that," Huo Mian said, annoyed by the man standing in front of her.
"Then what do you like?" Liu Ze moved his face up to Huo Mian's, closing the distance between them.
Huo Mian instinctively took a few steps back. She didn't like to be in close proximity to anyone but Qin Chu, not to mention physical contact.
