Tropes. They're everywhere. Whether it be a dystopian revolution, a princess trying to outwit the schemes of her own court, or the classic damsel in distress -- we all read at least one of these. Love 'em, hate 'em, you still can't deny how fun it is watching the characters go on about solving their problems as hundreds of other characters do the same. But if they're all the same, then tropes aren't fun anymore. So why not twist them a little.
