Unlucky Circumstances

The world was in shambles.

The Demon Lord had launched his invasion of the world without warning. There was to be peace since the last heroes had sealed away the Demon Lord. Nobody had expected him to break the seal, not for at least the next 300 years, but it had only been 100 years and the old heroes had all died. Nobody could stand up to the Demon Lord, nobody until the king summoned them...

"Now, Spirits of Light, hear my call, bring down heroes of justice, heroes of honor, heroes of the people! NOW! Summon Otherworlders!"

The sky parted and a group of heroes was summoned to the world.

"Where are we?"

"This is the human Kingdom of Balmond, I am King Balmond the Ninth. Welcome heroes! Rise and state your names!"

"I am LQ mon, I mean, sire."

"I am Clarity...what's happened to my ears?!?!"

"I am the Ghost, why am I see through?"

"I'm Kip, and I'm with my sister, Clarity, what happened to my ears?"

"You all have been transformed into races that suit our world better. So, Clarity and Kip, you two have become Elves. As for you, Ghost, your name has become your race. You are a Spirit or Specter if you will."

"Mon, y'all got some upgrades, I'm still just a human."

"Now heroes, we must get your classes sorted out! Hurry! The Demon Lord has been advancing with every hour!"

The King lead them into a chamber, there the new heroes were given classes based upon their previous life. LQ was now, LQ the Paladin Leader. His weapon was a Long Sword, imbued with magic. Ghost was now, Ghost the Spectral Gunslinger and Engine Mage. His weapon was a revolver firing magic bullets, and his Engine Mage ability allowed him to summon a vehicle, a model TT ford, and made it so only he could drive it. Clarity became the Elven Mage of the Dark Arts while her brother, Kip, become an Elven Cleric of Light Magic. The group had their races and classes, and then were given their task.

"Heroes, you must level up, and defeat the Demon Lord. He has brought destruction of many nations and the deaths of plenty of races, go forth and protect our world!
