Julia

I was pinned any move I make now would cost me my life. I didn't sign up for this. Anger built up in me until the point I couldn't take it anymore. I dropped the bag that was in my mouth and swung my neck back and force the wolf off of me. My neck was stained with my blood but I still managed to growl at the she wolf before me. She didn't back down however and we circle each other on high alert watching every step the other took. I looked for any weaknesses she may have. I found none but I knew she could clearly see my weakness because she caused it. My blood fell to the floor and I started to feel weaker. I couldn't stay in my wolf form so I began to change involuntarily. I stood up in my human form but wobbled a bit. She too changed into her human form and that puzzled me. Clearly she wanted my dead and she could have easily do that is her wolf form why was she changing.

"Why?" I asked however I wasn't able to finish my sentence as I collapse. She caught me however which made me even more puzzled with her.

"I don't believe in fighting people who are down." She says as she lays me on the bed. I was naked now so she just takes the sheet and wraps it around my body.

That's when my mate walks in. It was the first time I'd seen him and lord was he smoking hot. His muscles bulged begging me to run my hands along them. He was shirtless and only wearing his boxers so I could clearly see his abs and v-line. I was probably drooling by now. He walked over to me and it felt like my heart was going to explode but then my brain kicked in and reminded me about how I didn't want a mate.

"What happened," he asked looking at me then to the girl.

"Damien I'm so sorry." The girl made out barely as she was trembling in fear. Damien's eyes glowed yellow meaning his wolf was in control.

"Julia why would you this?" He asked growling looking at her murderously.

"She's a rogue what is she doing here?" She says glaring at me. I watched as Damien growled at her. My wolf growls at Julia and Julia growls back at me.

"Do you really think I want to be here?" I say and my wolf then growls at me.

'Athena what are you doing? You want to be here he's our mate.' My wolfs says to me and I roll my eyes.

'He is your mate.' I say back to her and she continues to growl at me.

Then suddenly Damien grabs Julia by her neck furiously unable to control his wolf.

"So you tried to kill her?" he says. I could feel his anger radiating off of him and I knew she could feel it too. It wasn't terrifying for me but I knew that it was for her. Her hot glare on me moved and soon she was looking down after he had let her go and looked over to me.

"Are you ok?" He asked me tone turning into a concerned. I watched as Julia slowly walked out the door, head low only looking back at us to glare at me and in no time she was gone leaving me here with my mate.

I truly did not want to be in the room with right now but with the blood rapidly leaving my body I had no other choice as I could not get up to leave. Soon however my body begins to feel limp as my consciousness fades. I felt sleep and the more I fought it the more I felt it. All I really wanted to do was get home by now my parents would be worried. The one day I decided to get home early I was taken by my mate and worst assaulted by someone who clearly hates me. For what reason? I really would like to know.

I finally gave into the sleep and as darkness crept in, I felt my body being lifted by strong masculine arms that made my body tingle where his hands were placed. I couldn't help but smile to myself.

He should cherish the times he gets to hold me because they maybe the last. As soon as I'm healed I'm out of here, I told myself and my wolf sulked sad that she wouldn't be able to see or touch her mate. After all I am a rogue. It's literally in my veins to reject nature.
