5 The essentials

Nothingness. This was the only thing that awaited Acedia the moment he crossed the doorstep. It was just an infinite white room. Of course, Acedia was stunned, this wasn't what he expected. Acedia though wasn't stunned, because of this sight. Instead, he felt power flowing inside of him. He felt like he could do literally anything.

[Well that's an interesting feeling, but shouldn't there be like a pub here? Wasn't that my weird power? Pub owner... Wait didn't the system tell me something about being the equivalent to god in my pub? That should mean...]

" GO PUB APPEAR" Acedia waited for a second, but nothing happened. So Acedia started talking to himself about how stupid his system is and how unfair the world is, maybe someone would hear him and help him out. After around half an hour, it's hard to tell how much time passed within this nothingness, Acedia started to focus on this feeling of power, closed his eyes, and started to imagine his ideal pub.

[I think I will go with a medieval tavern look, I always liked rustical stuff.

I will need Glass Racks and Shelves. I need places to store and display my alcohol, so I have to consider a form and function. I want something that looks great to help set my pub apart, but also it needs to provide the storage space and practical functions for me to work efficiently. Let's go with a simplistic wooden design that shines thanks to the beautiful wood.

The next thing I will need is a sink. Every pub needs at least one good sink for washing glasses and dumping old drinks. I will need a separate hand sink, too, so my future staff can keep their hands clean.

I will also need an ice bin. No pub is complete without a good ice bin. You need to keep your ice-cold, clean and easy for the staff to access with a simple scoop.

And of course some bartending accessories. Shakers, stirrers, measuring cups, corkscrews, bottle openers, paring knives and cutting boards for garnishes, pour tops, garnish bins and other items will be needed to prepare drinks.

Another thing I will need is blenders. If I am serving any blended drinks like margaritas or daiquiris, I will need a good commercial blender or maybe even several.

And I can not forget some glasses and mugs. I will require drink glasses of all types, including shot glasses, regular drink glasses, wine glasses, champagne flutes, martini glasses, and beer mugs.

I will also need a soda gun. I want to have a good soda gun system for non-alcoholic beverages and club soda dispensing. I don't want to turn my underage customers down (Evil money-hungry laugh).

A tap system & keg refrigerators would also be a good choice to have. If I am serving draught beer, I will need a tap system and keg refrigerator to keep the beer cold, fresh, and flowing!

Maybe even some fancy wine racks and a wine cooler.

I should also have a good refrigerator and freezer unit. Most pubs have a smaller under-counter fridge for easy access to certain drinks and food items I should also have one.

Naturally, my pub will need good furniture, barstools, tables, chairs, etc.

I can't forget about the entertainment aspects of my pub. It's nice to have a good sound system, televisions, games (pool tables, shuffleboard, dartboards), jukebox, and other things to keep my customers entertained while they enjoy some beverages.

Last but not least, I will need cleaning supplies. I am going to need mops, buckets, rags, bathroom supplies, soaps, hand sanitizers, dishwashing racks, and other items to keep my pub clean and sanitary. Ahh no wait I'm practically god, cleaning begone]

And while our mc daydreamed in his pub, something actually happened in the nothingness. Slowly stuff appeared out of thin and made the pub of acedia's wildest dreams.

When Acedia opened his eyes he was standing inside a pub. His pub.
