Chapter 1:God Hacks

Ling Qin slowly opens his eyes to see he is in some sort of room with a metal wall.

"Huh, Where am I?" asked Ling Qin.

Suddenly, memories appeared in his head causing him to have a severe headache.

*5 minutes later...*

The severe headache stopped.

"So I am in the future where humanity has gone fully crypto and there is a massive Virtual World known as Pub fire. Pub fire has even been used to wage war. It has many functions, but the most unique thing about it is its online society. it is humanities second world," said Ling.

"The parents of this body died 22 years ago, he currently resides in country M city03F Fire District with his little sister Ming Qin. His parents weren't rich so he had to get a job at the Construction Company just to make ends meet.," said Ling with a depressed face.

"The host of this body died a sad life at 34 years old as he was bullied in school, hardships and many more difficulties," said Ling with a face showing sympathy for the previous owner of this body.

Ling got up and bathed before changing his clothes and exiting his room.

Ling went down the staircase.

Ling entered the kitchen and saw a 5-foot 5 inches, tall black-haired woman in the small kitchen cooking.

This is Ling's 29 years old sister.

Ling walked up and the scent of the food being prepared made him salivate.

"Just wait it is almost done," said Ming smiling.

"Why are you smiling?" Asked Ling.

"Am I supposed to be emotionless after getting a job as an assistant at a million-dollar company," replied Ming with a hint of happiness.

"Wow, Congrats 👏!" said Ling.

Suddenly Ming's phone 📱 which was right beside her rang.

Ming tapped the phone and a holographic projection of a handsome young man appeared.

"Ms Ming I am sorry to inform you that Ningxe Xue of the Xue family has been granted your position as an assistant. You will have to find a new job," said the handsome young man as the hologram disappears.

Ming's previous happy expression turned into a sad one.

Ling who saw this was enraged but saw there was nothing he could do but comfort her.

Ling comforted her and said.

"It's gonna be alright," said Ling.

"But how are we going to pay next week's Bill if we don't we will be kicked out?" asked Ming with tears in her eyes.

"Don't worry, I will join Pub Fire and become the best player," replied Ling.

Hearing that Ming stopped crying and asked.

"Are you sure you can do it?" Asked Ming.

"Yes," replied Ling.

"To Get a fire helmet we need 2.7k$ global dollars," said Ming with a face full of doubt.

"I can use the 1.7k$ global dollars in my savings account and the 1k in my spending money account," said Ling.

"But then we would have 3k$ global dollars," said Ming with a worried face.

"Don't worry, I got this," said Ling with a smile calming his sister down.

Ling then sat on a chair as Ming placed his food on the (2m x 2m) square table.

After eating his breakfast Ling washed his plate and went upstairs.

Ling tapped his phone and a hologram appeared.

Ling then ordered a fire helmet for 2.7k$ global dollars.

*16 minutes and 40 seconds later...*

*door buzzer rings*

A few moments later a knock on his door woke him up.

Ling quickly signed the hologram clipboard before taking the box from the delivery man who then left.

Ling's field of view changed to the starry sky.
