I nodded..this guy didn't have a sense of danger or what?!

I sat up. I was still a bit sleepy," why did you sleep beside me?"

He looked at the ceiling with a vague expression, his dark eyes , bleak , distant.

"Why do you ask?"

" I did try to kill you last time I was awake."

"You also held on to me later."

He replied quite nonchalantly. I remembered and felt an urge of killing myself. I had never done something like that in my life. Why did i ask him to stay? What is wrong with me...

" it doesn't mean you are safe..", I said.

At this, he smiled and said," girl, listen I understand people far better than you do..I know you better than you think.."

" you are quite confident."

" well working with our kind...I understand everything.every move that you make , every step that you take...I know it all."

I looked at him. This man , why do I feel so weak in front of him? Why is his demeanour outruns mine? Why?

" you know you are staring at me...", he smiled , still his eyes on the ceiling. I looked away.

I heard a creak . I looked back . His face was inches away from mine. What?! I felt a sharp pain in my hand . What the ...he was pricking a needle on my hand .

I looked at him. His eyes. I froze. They were not human .

" it hurts."

" does it?"

" take it out."

He smiled and took it out.

" did you feel it?"

" the pain...yeah."

I went silent.....I didn't wanna admit...I have always been a sucker for pain. He just gazed at me. His piercing eyes, deep enough to eat me alive. I couldn't break free of his gaze. He took my chin and kissed me, I was caught off guard. He had such cold, piercing eyes yet he was warm at that moment. When I came to my senses I pushed him back. He lowered his head and took a few steps back. He looked out of the window again.

" why did you do it?" , I asked.

"Trust me girl, I am more surprised than you are."

" I have a name , you know that right?"..I lowered my gaze.

He smirked," Autumn. Why did you choose it?"

" why did I choose what?"

" well, I guess I chose this cause I can't express anything without the Crimson."

He left and went to the bathroom. Okay . Seems there's a reason his eyes are like that, devoid of any emotion . I looked at my phone.

" girl, can you come and help me?" He called from the bathroom.

" are you planning to kill me Hades?"

I asked cause this was not normal, not for people like us.

" not yet , I need your help, just come in."

I still took my knife in my pocket. I went in the bathroom, it was unlocked.....

He was there..his back showing a big wound from his left shoulder to middle of his back. It was still fresh.

" when did you get that?"

" a few days ago."

I didn't pry further cause this man is way too dangerous to be pried . I took the fast aid kit and took out the disinfectant .

" yeah."

Yes , he had a chiseled body with abs sticking out. He had scars all over it and his new wound was still oozing a bit of blood. What's not to enjoy..

" how many have you killed yet?"

" didn't exactly keep a track but around 10-15."

We both went quiet. I was done with the bandages.

I closed the the box .

" it was you who did that to yourself right , Hades?"

He looked at me sharply," how did you know?"

" all your wounds and scars are at the places where your hands can reach. It doesn't take a genius to understand that."

He smirked ," if u say a word to the doc, u are dead."

I felt confident after this. I sat on his lap . He clearly liked the feeling. Took his chin and said," I don't wanna die but just so you know...I'm not so easy to kill either."

I kissed him hard this time. I am not holding back anymore. He is like me. I have finally found someone, like me. Even if he kills me , I don't care . He smiled," not really. You don't. He is Hades for the world. I used him as a decoy."

" there's a division of Interpol, the Hawks, an undercover society of mercenaries nurtured by the governments of all the countries,they hunt psychopaths all over the world."

" and you are on their radar?"

" nope. They tried to get my image but practically I used doc's photos everywhere . He didn't know that."

" survival strategies... but doc died. He has always been loyal . I will avenge him. "

" was he special?"

" not really...but he was a part of my family. That's all it takes ."

" you have the info on this Hawk fuckers?"

" I am working on it . I have killed a lot of them in the past year. This is their payback."he smirked.

I looked away." I can take them on. I believe in my instincts."

" it was too easy. No casualties. Sir."

The man smirked ," the man you killed was a decoy ."

" but , sir the database. "

" do you honestly think a man like him , will have an id proof. "

He opened his eyes ," you killed one of his own but not him. Leave." The woman left.

"Tch. Things are getting interesting." The man stood up and looked at himself in his mirror. Aryan smiled ," I will be the one to kill you , brother."
