115 The Talk pt. 1

"So, what's the problem?" Aevahn asked after we were done ordering for food.

We decided to eat at a nearby restaurant, a few minute walk from the building I own. I was not that hungry so I ordered something light instead, while Aevahn did the same after knowing mine. We were just patiently waiting for our orders to come now.

"Hmm?" I hummed and blinked at him in confusion.

I didn't get why he had suddenly asked that.

"You look really troubled at the moment," he pointed out. The sides of his lips were slightly lifted into a half smile, giving him a boyish look.

"Ah…" I muttered and let out a forced one on my own, "No. I'm just a little miffed from work, that's all…" I answered.

"Ohh?" One of his brows were lifted as if he did not believe me at all.

'This guy sure has sharp senses…'

He then rested his chin on his right palm and studied me for a second.

"Is it because of a man?" He inquired.
