"You all don't have to worry about the money, or how much they are worth. I can afford them now," said Rachel, still sporting her charming smile.

The three couldn't still believe what they were seeing, even after feeling the bags with their hands in awe. They were carefully touching them, afraid that they would break or something along those lines. Who can blame them? These bags are worth a fortune. Even with their entire savings combined, they won't ever afford one of these.

"So it's true? The rumors about your husband being a son of an influential family?" Nicole couldn't help but inquire in breathless wonder.

How else would Rachel afford any of these? Three handbags and more… Unless these are all fakes but that's highly doubtful. Rachel won't do that even if it's a given truth that she's ambitious. Plus, what will she gain from pretending, anyway?

So that could only mean that the rumor circulating in their workplace is true.
