98 Paparazzi pt. 2

I had forgotten how we escaped the horde of rabid dogs from outside. As soon as we got inside the building, the guards there quickly locked the door, so no one could come in. Eris and the rest, which I have no way of knowing who they are for being so confused with everything, led me to the elevator. I was just tagging along, moving wherever they wanted me to go.

Someone deposited me on the sofa, which I was grateful for, for the reason that my knees were shaking like crazy. It's a miracle that I didn't fall to my feet, I did not even know how I was able to carry myself up here. 

"Why is there a paparazzi outside?" I asked to no one in particular. It could be also directed to myself, I don't know…

"Miss," I heard Beth called me out, but I was still unsteady, so I did not look up to her immediately.

"This is the newspaper for today," she then held it out in front of my face.
