House Visit pt. 2

"Now why don't you wait at the living room while Wynter and I prepare something?" She offered as she pushed me towards the kitchen.

Keith nodded in understanding and went to the living room with Gladis, mom's personal nurse, guiding him. My eyes immediately narrowed when the woman smiled at him too brightly for my taste. 

She better back off...

"Care to tell me who he is?" 

She asked as soon as we got inside the kitchen. She also started bringing out her teacup collection, which, she never bring out before.

My head turned to the living room which can be clearly seen in our position and glanced at Keith who was sitting on the sofa. 

"He's Keith," I uttered and looked back at her, "my business partner."

She raise one of her brows at me, not believing what I said. Well, who would bring their business partner in their mother's house, right? I sound unbelievable even to my ears.
