1 Prologue - Start

A few hundreds of years have passed since humans gained knowledge on how to use more than 10% of their cerebral capacity, and with the acquisition of that knowledge came supernatural powers.

Telekinesis, psychokinesis, and such powers were just a part of what they gained, as it did not stop at that.

Cerebral capacity, or Brain percentage, as you may call it, is the measurement humans use to determine their level, strengths, and even their rankings in society.

With 11% Cerebral capacity, humans gained the supernatural power known as telekinesis, though with limits such as the range of their use or the weight of the object they could control.

As such, with the newly gained supernatural powers, humanity advanced even more throughout the hundreds of years as they raised their Cerebral capacity to the best they could.

However, even with all the knowledge they have, none of them have been able to reach the limit that is said to be the pinnacle, and by stepping foot on that limit, it is theorized that you can become a god.

Yet, it all remained a theory as none were able to prove it, and instead, their ambitions and greed for power only led to their doom.

A war broke out, and it resulted in nations getting destroyed, suffering, and the deaths of billions of living beings.

Due to that, the remaining people alive in the world could be counted in the thousands, and I was one of those survivors.

I, who was an orphan, managed to survive through that ordeal, as I didn't stand neither at the top, where you are prone to assassinations, nor at the bottom, where you are considered to be fodder for war.

I lived such a life, yet I also had ambitions. With most of my enemies dead, I killed my own leader with the power I had been hiding.

He trusted me as if I were his own brother, but after killing him, I had no regrets or sadness. He was cruel and sadistic, and he caused many to suffer at his hands.

A few more years passed since I killed my leader and gained leadership over his subordinates, and the remaining humans in this world, including us, could be counted with one hand.

Over the years, we, the last remaining humans, have been fighting against another group. We were already on our last stand, and almost all of them had already lost all hope and will to survive in this ruined world.

So I suggested that I declare an all-out war against the enemy, which they accepted without much thought.

We fought and fought, with my subordinates dying looking relieved as if they were glad they would finally leave this ruined world, and the same was with our enemies, until...

...Two remain.

me and my friend.

However, we were on opposite sides, with me being the leader of my group and my friend being the leader of theirs.

"Last one?" I questioned.

"Yeah...last one." My friend replied that, unlike mine, his had a bitter tone.

And so, after a brief exchange of words, our fight began. The winner...

Me... the last human alive in this world.

But that title also didn't last long. I suffered severe injuries, and I knew my body wouldn't last long.

So with the last of my strength, I staggered to walk towards the body of my opponent—my friend.

I kneeled, I said no words, and only a smile formed in my face. At the same time, the sun slowly set and was replaced by the darkness of this world.

The moment the moon illuminated my body with a silver light, I died feeling satisfied, as my last moments were with my beloved friend and my death,

became the symbol of extinction for humanity.

Finally, without humans, this world will continue to flourish in its own way, and without humans, peace will ultimately be bestowed upon this world.
