CHAPTER 37

Y/N

I spent a whole week checking my mail every morning and every night, but there was no sign of the mail the university was supposed to send us.

"Good morning, darling." My mother said.

"Morning, mum." I filled my favourite cup with green tea.

"Did you check the mail?"

"No. I know it will be empty."

"Who knows, maybe today is the day." She kissed my head.

"It has been a week already."

"That's why." She said, before leaving me alone in the kitchen.

My mother was right. That day the university sent me the email.

"Dear Y/n,

We inform you that you are one of the students admitted in Yonsei University, South Korea. We'll bring you more information about the exchange in the following days, please be patient.

Kind regards,

Director Kim."

I screamed

South Korea as South Korea?

It couldn't be happening to me.

Well, thinking about all the possibilities, it was impossible meeting the boys there. I had to go to study, meet new people. Focus only on my studies and my grades. I could also let the boys know I was there, just in case. They would end up finding it out by themselves, anyway. But I decided I would keep it a secret from them until I got there.

Because I wanted to go. It would be a big opportunity for me, as a student and as a person.

I let my mother and my father know about it as soon as they arrived home. I was so excited. I phoned all my friends. My best friends, of course.

Ashley was going to Canada, I was hoping we could go together.
