Itadakimasu!

(Kisame POV)

Itachi had to rest, the encounter with the Godaime had taken a very heavy toll on his eyes. He did something that greatly damaged Itachi's Sharingan. Whenever he tried to activate the next stage of his Sharingan, it would throb in pain and blood would flow out profusely, though it had gotten lesser with time, he still couldn't roam around freely.

That being what it is, Kakuzu had taken the chance to drop some of his work on me. Hunting missing-nin was the only real source of income for us and given that I was alone Pain agreed to keep me occupied with some light work.

Thinking about Pain... made me wonder. We all knew he was supposed to be strong, but the new Hokage was no joke. He was a kid only on appearance, underneath was a monster. Through Samehada I had felt it, that chakra. It was suitable for a Hokage in quantity… but it was foul… vile, not even tailed beasts had chakra that felt like that.

I felt my own being eroded by it, fearing it. He didn't use any techniques to release it outwards toward me so I couldn't get a real taste for it, but Samehada did, and it wailed in agony afterward. It took days for it to recover from that chakra it had absorbed. I still hadn't.

It felt as if it was gnawing its teeth at my mind, scraping my mind with claws and promising me terror. While Pain's eyes made me feel small as an ant, the Godaime's chakra made me feel as if I was slowly being dragged down to hell, tormented, broken. It didn't promise, death, it promised eternal hell.

As I was deep in my nightmares, I didn't notice anything until it was too late. The earth started shaking violently as loud thumps were heard. So loud that I was surprised I wasn't seeing a giant summon next to me. I only heard two steps but the distance I judged between them was ridiculous… it was fast, too fast.

"A summon, a big one at that!" – I said as I drew my sword but I was already too late.

A big hand, covered in some kind of armor, at least that's what it looked like, but it covered my head so I wasn't sure. It grabbed my head and slammed it into the ground. I couldn't make out what was happening around me as my entire head ringed and throbbed from pain. I could feel blood leaking out from all directions and I couldn't hear anything.

As it let go, I could barely turn my eyes to see what hit me. My eyes widened, blood leaking from them as my injuries caught up with me. What stood in front of me… was a monster.

It stood at a little below three meters tall, covered in some kind of armor, and had a bigger built than the current Raikage by far. As it judged me it shrunk a little, falling to around 2.5 meters, though still bigger than any man. It slowly took a step, and given that I was right next to it, it passed one leg over me, dropped to his knees on top of me, pulled back his fist, and punched straight into my stomach, leaving me gasping for air as I could feel my organs give up.

And then came another, and another and another. With each hit, it increased in speed, but after the first one, I couldn't even find the strength to move. As it landed a flurry of punches, I could no longer feel after the second one, but I could imagine that it became a mess. I was already dead, I just had to wait for my mind to realize it.

As I was feeling darkness slowly overwhelm me, I remembered something… this chakra, I had felt it before,

'…right… it was… that.... Hokage... ha…ha…ha.' – I thought as my consciousness gave out… I felt like many more were going to join me soon.

(Mc POV)

Hammering hit after hit into Kisame I noticed that he was already dead… Weird, I didn't even use sage mode, simply my physical prowess. I was kind of hoping for him to get find a way to kick me off and get back up so e could fight a little more properly.

As I removed my hands from his guts, I could feel how smashed they were, probably nothing except mashed organs remaining in there. I even held back not to punch through him, but I guess it was too much for him.

As I was about to get up I decided to better be safe than sorry, I raise my fist once more as I brought it back down on his head, smashing it like a tomato as I absorbed him.

The earth around me had cracked and Samehada was standing where Kisame once stood. I would have engaged him into a swordfight to better train myself, but I had to test my physical prowess and I was impressed. After accustoming myself to Sage energy, it appeared my basic physical attributes had risen slightly.

I would have to run more tests but opponents of similar levels were scarce, but it wasn't going to be so for long. Grabbing the ring in the ground I put it into my finger. Despite my ability to shapeshift with clothes, I stuck to human-made ones, the main factor being as it would be pretty weird if my clothes regenerated together with me.

As I watched the ring, I was around 90% sure that it had some kind of tracking seal in it, if not, I was confident in the other side's abilities. My little plant-based friend would find me sooner or later, and he would have an employment opportunity for me if he was as smart as I gave him credit for, meanwhile, my clones would have to alternate with me from time to time as I moved from one place to another. Some situations in the village would require the real me to go back and most of the daily ones could be managed by my clones.

Fighting against Jinchuriki and tailed beasts were bound to make my defense skyrocket. It was just the training regimen needed forme to face the Juubi later on.

As I finished that line of thinking I grabbed the sword by the handle, as it pierced my hand with its handle. I was much bigger and the sword seemed fit as a one-handed sword for my size.

"Well, it wouldn't have been fun if you didn't resist at all." – As I said that my faceplate shifted to show a ferocious-looking smile, with monster-like teeth.

"Itadakimasu!" – I said as my mouth opened across my entire face, multiple rows of teeth showing as I bit down… HARD.
