(A/N: WARNING!!!! Disturbing content ahead... though how much depends on how much fo a degenerate you are! :)

(Three Days Later, Land of Iron, Five Kage Summit.)

(Mifune POV)

'Being juggled around by shinobi politics was not how I'd imagined spending my last years on this earth. That said it was not as if I'd expected to make it to such an age in the first place.

The upcoming summit was an explosive chakra keg, ready to blow out of proportion by the slightest disturbance.

'On one side there is the Raikage, one of the most powerful Kage, capable of literally wrestling with Tailed Beasts, joined by the current Mizukage, Mei Terumi, holder of two Kekkai Genkai that allow her the use of lava and boil release. The third unofficial and unconfirmed member of this alliance would be the Fourth Tsuchikage, Kurotsuchi, a possible holder of Dust Release after the death of her grandfather and a confirmed possessor of the lava release. '

While the specifications of dust release were hidden to outsiders, it was widely known that Onoki was not a descendant of Mu, but rather his disciple. With that many looked forward to what would become of the young Tsuchikage.

This assortment of Kages would be enough to decimate an entire village… but sadly the other side of this conflict still held the upper hand.

'Kei Uchiha, the Uchiha patriarch that had already eliminated a Kage, and the Tsuchikage at that, together with an army of 1000 shinobi. None lived to tell the tale and no bodies were ever found. As if that wasn't enough the village was mostly reduced to rubble afterward, with the entire Hokage Tower blown to pieces. It is what earned him the title of God of Warfare in Konoha, a title he proved to be able to live up to as Konoha only grew stronger, the casualties of the enemies stacking without even encountering their enemies.'

Among the shinobi, Kei Uchiha was feared. Except for Konoha which was under his protection, every other shinobi village viewed him as a threat, and so did their shinobi. The monster on every other village's bedtime story.

'But among Samurai he is respected, even revered to some point. But this was not because of his power, nor was it because of his ideals. Even the methods he used were in complete contradiction with their teachings as Samurai most of the time.'

But the teachings of the Samurai were just that, a code of conduct in an everyday life of a Samurai, not the rules their lord has to abide by. Above their teachings stood their duty, and a Samurai's duty was his life. To serve his lord to the best of his ability with no regard for himself. In that regard, a Samurai's greatest regret would be to die a worthless death, a death with no purpose…

Reaching this point, Mifune's thoughts halted as he pictured his own death, a death that now would likely come from old age.

'Every death under the current Hokage is a step towards Konoha's ultimate victory. Kei Uchiha does not care for the status quo that has been maintained so far. Unlike the previous pointless wars led nowhere, this one will be a turning point in the history of the world. Every man and woman that will die under Kei's orders will become a part of that history. On the other hand, no Samurai has seen a worthy end in the last decades. That said, that same sense of duty is what will keep the Samurai in line as well, their duty to their people.'

(3rd Person POV)

While Mifune was sure of the integrity of the Samurai, Kei was far ahead of him in planning and experience. He knew of his reputation amongst the Samurai, as well as their people. With a culture that allowed Mifune at the top, as opposed to some corrupt official, Kei knew that all he had to do was to remove Mifune, the experienced leader who sought peace and leave room for someone younger and with more fire in him, someone that still dreamed for his or her meaningful death.

With a leader that supported him, a people that sought his protection, and an army that couldn't wait to jump into war, all Kei would need would be to merely have someone actually voice them, and the nation would jump into his palm.

While this was merely an assumption, it was based on the feelings of 2000 Samurai. Those who trained diligently and for what? To waste their life on a forsaken fortress. The moment they fought without any certainty of survival was the most alive they had been in an entire decade. It was hopeless, it was futile, but not a single Samurai ran.

Without knowing it, Mifune had made a perfect showcase to his people. An example of what many Samurai considered a failure deep down. Leaving for war and yet returning defeated. A shame in the hearts of all Samurai, but because he was acknowledged by Hanzo the Salamander, the people seemed to have forgotten that he was defeated nonetheless… but the other Samurai didn't.

(A/N: Did you know that if a Samurai was defeated in battle he was expected to disembowel himself to preserve his and his lord's honor as well as to apologize for his failure and that despite it, his descendants might still lose all their land and properties? Naruto sure did sweeten most of the cons of Edo Period Japan.)

--------------------------

The doors were opened by two samurai as the Fifth Hokage and the Fifth Kazekage made their way inside the room, being the last to join as the Raikage and the Mizukage stood in their assigned seats at the two ends of the curved table.

Sitting down at the center, with Gaara on his left, the other Kage's soon took their places. Kei looked at the other Kage in the room, sitting directly on his right, the current Tsuchikage, Kurotsuchi.

"My, my. You really do look different from that piece of meat your grandfather had arranged as a stand-in. She turned into spectacular fireworks though." – The words reached across the room. Kurotsuchi had long been used to her grandfather being used as a political attack… but she wasn't prepared for what came next.

'How is your child?' – But these words only reached her as her head turned to Kei holding nothing but hate.

"Is it such a sore subject, maybe because someone much more important died that day, does it make your heart throb I wonder?" – The amusement was clear for everyone to see in the words of the Hokage.

'I'll make sure he suffers… just like his father, your husband.' – Again silent words reached her as her hate burned through her eyes and her hand cracked the edge of the table.

"Fifth Hokage, I believe that is enough." – the Mizukage was the first to say something.

"Indeed, stop wasting time." – Raikage immediately backed her up as Mifune merely nodded.

Raising his hands, Kei merely laughed.

"I never waste my time, nevertheless, let us discuss what we're here for. The musclehead's desperate and pitiful attempt at politics."

A blood vessel threatened to burst from the Raikage as Kei diverted their attention from the Tsuchikage, making them completely unaware of the murderous look she was giving the Hokage.

'I will cut off his fingers one by one.' – Words continued to pour in Kurotsuchi's head without end, without pause, without rest.

'I will cut off his arms…' – Never ending stream of words as every ounce of rationality started to leave her.

'I will gouge out his eyes, cut off his tongue and his ears… and even keep him alive for you to watch.' – Her hands cracked the table one more as now attention was drawn to her from every other individual in the room.

Guards quickly stood by their Kage's side as they carefully looked at Kurotsuchhi and her two bodyguards. Samurai quickly rushed inside as they blocked the entrance, swords in hand.

'But don't worry, I'll make sure to send you each piece so you can have your fun putting him back together.'

At this moment it was Mei's bodyguard who had activated his Byakugan, that noticed the faint chakra fluctuations from the Hokage to the Tsuchikage.

"The Tsuchikage is…" – was all he could get out as the Tsuchikage delivered a punch straight at the Hokage.

Unseen by most, as the punch approached his face, Kei Mangekyou spun staring straight at the Tsuchikage's bodyguard.

As the punch sent him flying to the wall, the Tsuchikage's bodyguard moved quickly and erected a mud wall to temporarily block the entrance as the Samurai tried to rush in.

"It's a trap, the Kazekage is only a clone and the Tsuchikage is being manipulated by genjutsu." – Mei's bodyguard quickly said as the Kage's head turned toward him.

Moving quickly the Raikage's arm made contact with the Kazekage who quickly turned into smoke, but not before showing a feral smile towards him.

A laugh was heard as the Hokage merely looked at them like they were a bunch of fools.

"Too little, too late. I'm through with tolerating your interferences. Right here and now, I declare you all…" – As Kei spoke, he raised his hand and a small white cube appeared on his hand, immediately expanding to cover an area bigger than the room.

The Kage's wasted no time as they attacked, the Raikage being the fastest as he appeared right next to the Hokage's face.

"DEAD." – With a bright flash of light, the entire conference room disappeared, the only survivors being the Samurai who tried to rush into the room. And the last scene they witnessed, was the Tsuchikage delivering a surprise attack on the Hokage.
