7 Hannalee 4

I hadn't looked forward to reporting to Ravena that I had to leave early. I hadn't had the confidence to explain the whole situation, summing it up to my glamour having fallen and having been seen, followed by wiping their memory. I knew I would have to give her the rest of the story when I met her face to face, but that would wait until I was mentally prepared.

I packed my small dufflebag with the large number of clothes. A normal human storage system wouldn't be able to hold nearly as much as I had brought, but I wasn't human, after all.

The gateway to my realm would be open in a couple of hours, but the waiting was quickly becoming unbearable. I had finished packing within minutes, and now I just had to wait for the gateway to be open. Once the gateway was open, I would go outside, channel my power through the connection to my realm, and I would be brought home. Ravena would be there when I arrived and I would be expected to spill all my guts on what had happened.

Finally, the time was arriving and I stepped outside. It was well after 1 am at this point and the night air was freezing with signs of the seasonal changes. Soon snow would be here and I wouldn't even be here to see it. Snow was something else I had also longed to someday see.

I looked around, enjoying the night sky, seeing the endless stars, hearing the rare vehicle drive past the motel. None of them seemed to notice me, a tall girl with a hood pulled far over her face, hiding my both my hair and my eyes. I had tried to regain my glamour after returning to the motel, but no matter what I did, I couldn't restrain my out of control energy. I needed the connection with my home realm to re-balance my control.

I walked around the motel building, making my way to the clearing behind the motel. It would be a perfect spot for the transportation, since it was large and spacious, and isolated from where anyone else might see.

I made it halfway around the side of the motel building before I heard a sound that made my blood freeze in my veins. A low, but loud growl sounded from my left. I slowly turned to my side, watching as a black wolf as tall as me stepped out of the darkness of night. It's golden eyes glowed in the dark, standing out against the dark colored fur, and the aura it radiated was anger and hunger. Half of me screamed to back away slowly. I was past the point of truly caring, I would be gone from here soon. But the other half, a small whisper of power had me staying in place, as if this was what I was supposed to do.

My body shook as I saw the wolfs fur blow in the wind, before it receded back into it's body, quickly reforming into the shape of a man. The one man I didn't want to see, who I never thought I would see again. Dante stood before me, in all his naked glory.

His skin was completely covered in his deep tan, showing that it wasn't actually a tan, but his natural skin tone. Muscles all over each part of his body, including the rather large muscle that I was doing my best to avoid looking at.

"Did you really think I would let you run away?" he growled, moving closer with steady steps.

"H-how...is this...this isn't possible!" I backed away until I was against the wall.

He still wasn't close enough to touch me, if I tried, I could probably make a run for it, but my legs wouldn't move.

"I don't know what it is that you're saying is impossible, but I'm right here and I don't intend to let you leave like you are clearly planning to do." he kept getting closer until he was just inches from me, his hands against the wall on either side of me.

"You shouldn't even remember me" I whispered, knowing that the panic was clear in my voice.

"Is that what you tried to do?" He growled again, sounding angry.

"It was...the only way to protect you...you've seen my true appearance and that...will get you killed, as well as me stripped of all of my power." I tried explaining, hoping that he would somehow understand the logic in my words, despite me knowing that he wouldn't.

"You think I'm worried about being killed? And do you think I wouldn't do whatever I could to protect you from whatever this huge, fucking threat is that your so FUCKING afraid of?!"

I felt his anger turn to rage, then felt it soften as he pulled me, hard, against his chest. He had one hand around my back while the other pulled my hood down, revealing my wild, pale blue hair. His fingers buried into my hair and gave a soft pull, then a harder pull, forcing me to face up toward his face.

He descended upon me with impossible speed and a painful feeling of force, his kiss raw and intense. And I, stupidly listening to the pull in my stomach, opened up for him.

He growled against my mouth, his tongue moving around my own, urging me on touch, each nibble on my lip, each applied pressure on my back and hips. I wanted this, more than I had ever thought I could admit. Even when I felt his fangs descend mid-kiss, it only made me want more.

He stopped the kiss and looked down at me, any sense of human logic gone from his eyes.

I had long since lost all ability to think, to speak, to care about anything more than just feeling his touch on my skin. He gave an entirely animalistic smile, lifting me up with no effort. I didn't fight, letting my instincts take hold of me. My legs wrapped around his waist as he walked without any effort. He kept one hand holding me up, gripping my ass through my pair of black jeans, and it took all my senses not to grind against his obvious erection pressed against my groin and part of my stomach.

He walked us back to the door to my previous motel room, gripped the door knob and broke the lock with barely more than a push. The door slammed behind us as he walked us into the darkened room, dropping me quickly onto the bed before positioning himself on top of me.
