A month passed with tension as all of the races began to meet one another for the first time in a millennium. None of them knew of the others until they met, the memories they once had long gone. The only ones who knew that they had once lived in the same realm was my own pack.

I had lost all contact with the realm that had once been my home, knowing that they likely wouldn't try anything more, at least not for a while. If they tried to separate the realms again, I was still here to undo it. But I was also here if the realms did need separation.

The humans were greatly unsettled by the suddenly expanded world, and the greater number of shifters. The humans of the night walker realm had never seen the sun before, so they needed greater medical help just to adjust, while the night walkers themselves needed to learn that they couldn't be out in the daylight. The Faery folk, who had lived more or less separate from the humans in their realm were very welcoming of the shifters, since they were more a part of nature than the humans were.

Now-a-days the races seemed fine, with the exception of the humans and the night walkers, there weren't any signs of conflict, since most of the races still stuck to the areas that they knew as their home. The earthquakes that had happened one month prior came from all of he different realms colliding with one another. One realm becoming one, access to each different continent suddenly possible. No more mist over endless water that led to nothing. Anyone who left the land no longer had any fear of disappearances, discovering other lands, with all new people.

I still mourned the death of my mom, as well as the 3 others who had appeared to remove me. Not that I didn't feel some resentment for their actions, but they had still once been people that I had known. I just wondered what it was the council could have said to my mom to make her so willing to kill me.

A pair of arms wrapped around my waist "Hey beautiful."

Dante pulled me back against his chest and kissed the back of my head.

I knew that he could sense my emotions, just as I could sense his, and I highly doubted he didn't feel the excitement that I was trying to press within myself.

"I have good news" I said, looking at him over my shoulder

"hmm, yeah?" He asked, acting like he didn't already know that I had news.

I reached into my jeans and pulled the white and purple stick out of my pocket, holding it up for him.

He looked at the small dent with the screen showed a large purple plus sign.

"Is that what I think it is?" His body went stiff.

"Mhmm" I smiled, seeing the amazed look on his face.

"You're pregnant?" he asked, seeming to have trouble getting the words right.

"Looks like my mom was telling the truth about me being able to conceive."

He let out a soft laugh, before bursting into a full, excited laughter, turning me and lifting me up. He kissed me hard and passionately.

"We're gonna have a family!" He cheered excitedly.

"Yep!" I smiled at him happily. "Were gonna have kids. You and me. We're a family now."

He set me down, looking down at me like I had expected he would, like he had just won the worlds best trophy.

"I love you" I said.

"You have no idea how much I love you" He replied, kissing me.
