Chapter 27 Pick a Dress

Charlie was determined to get South Fliffud, but Ashlynn was not so optimistic. Hence, she made an appointment with Madilyn and talked to her about it. Naturally, Madilyn agreed to help her without hesitation. "I've heard this from Carson. Fret not, Charlie has the capability that others can't compete with."

This fact alone was undoubtedly comforting to them, and Ashlynn was elated to have received assurance. After that, the two of them discussed Kenia and Charlie's engagement before going their separate ways.

When Charlie returned home, Ashlynn reminded him, "I have talked to Mrs. Heath today about your engagement. The date is set to be on the 25th of next month."

Hearing this, he remained silent. Thus, she tried to persuade him again. "Charlie, Kenia is a kind and well-behaved girl. She has gone through so much for you, so it's only fitting that you marry her. What's more, she is Carson's daughter. There is no harm in marrying her."
