41 The Party

(Storm's POV)

Today is the day of the Welcome Home/Inauguration/Engagement party. Woo that's a mouth full. I don't know why but I feel nervous. I'm basically meeting Athena's whole family. I actually get to meet her siblings and her actual aunt and uncle from her dad's side of the family. So much pressure.

For the party, we had to dress up so here I am with the guys in tuxedos waiting for my girl to come down the stairs with the others. By guys I mean Alpha Jacob, Jered, and Daniel. Nathan said he would come later since he has to pick up his wife and kids from the airport.

The girls wanted our outfit to match their's, so we did as we were told. Alpha Jacob dressed up in a grey suit, Jered dressed in a burgundy colored suit, Daniel dressed in a black suit, and I was dressed in a three-Piece formal stylish navy blue suit. The girls were the one's to pick out our suit. Apparently they didn't trust us.

"Okay we are ready!" Luna yelled down the staircase. We all looked towards the staircase and the first to come down was Luna. She had a beautiful long glitter v-neck gown and walked down stairs in her sliver heels. Alpha Jacob ran over to his wife with a big smile on his face and held her hand around his arm. 'Wow so the Alpha can be all lovey dovey.' I said to myself.

The next to come down was Adriana. She was wearing a high low beading champagne organza halter dress with some black heels. Jered walked over to his wife and gave her a small kiss and said "you look beautiful." She replied "I know." We all laughed at her comment.

The next one to come down the steps was Diamond. She was wearing a long white strapless glittered mermaid dress. She looked absolutely stunning. Daniel stood in his place and stared at her in awe. We all chuckled at him. I literally pushed him to the staircase to get him to snap out of it and get his future bride. He had a smile on his face as he held out his hand for Diamond to take. Diamond smiled back at him as she took his hand. To our surprise, she was the one to pull him into a kiss.

Now it was Athena's turn. I was growing very anxious to see her. I was at the bottom of the steps facing everyone else, when I heard the sound of heels coming down the steps. I turned my head for second to take a glimpse and then went back to facing everyone else then I turned my head completely towards her direction.

She was wearing an off the shoulder Navy blue gown with very sexy slit on the side that showed her beautiful leg. The dress fitted her so perfectly that you could basically see her sexy shaped body. Her hair was in a dutch braided bun and she wore some earrings that matched her dress and the necklace that I had put on her after our first date. Just seeing her walk down the steps so elegantly with her open toed black shoes and smiling so beautifully that it shows her small dimples, made my mouth completely dry. I didn't even realize that my jaw was slightly dropped.

When she finally reached me, I couldn't even speak. Honestly there are no words to describe how beautiful she looks right now. She looked at me nervously and asked "What? What's something wrong? Do you not like it?" She looked as if she was getting sad. I quickly took her hand and began to caress her cheek. "No, No, No baby. You look... You just look so... oh my god baby there are just no words to describe how beautiful you look." I then responded.

Her smile reappeared and I smiled back at her. Our moment was interrupted by a flash of a camera. We both turned towards where the flash came from and saw Luna with a camera in her hand. "I'm sorry, but I couldn't resist. I'll send you the photo." she said and quickly walked back to Alpha Jacob. We both chuckled and I interlocked our finger together and walked over to everyone.

"Okay.Now that everyone is here, let's go to the dining hall. Everyone is waiting for us." Alpha Jacob said and we all agreed. We all walked towards the dining hall and stopped at the door. Jered and Adriana entered first, then Jacob and Luna, then it was our turn. We walked through the doors and I looked around and saw the dining hall is completely full of people. "This is only some of our pack. There are actually a lot and I mean a lot more." Athena whispered softly to me.

I nodded and we got out of the way from the doors. Then the doors opened and Diamond and Daniel entered and everyone cheered. They looked so happy together. I pulled Athena closer and whispered to her "Thats going to be us next." She giggled a little and I took that as a good sign.

"ATHENA!" someone yelled. We both turned to the voice that yelled and four teenagers were running towards us. Athena suddenly looked happy and let go of my hand. She ran towards them and hugged them all. I walked behind her and stood as she hugged them. When she released them, they all looked at me. Athena laughed a little when they did that.

"Storm, these two are my brother and sister, Liam and Artemis King, and these two boys are Nathan's kids, Brendan and Jackson Taylor. Guys this is my mate, Storm Dryer. You guys better play nice with him." Athena introduced us and they all looked at me very sternly and shook hands with me. "You know if you hurt her we will all skin you alive." Liam then said. I chuckled and wrapped my arm around Athena's waist and pulled her closer to me. I looked straight to Athena's face and said "I would rather kill myself than hurt her."

She blushed and hugged me tight and I hugged her back. "Hey hey who is the guy hugging our niece." I released Athena from my embrace and we looked up to see a lady and a man standing behind the teenagers who looked kind of like Alpha Jacob. "Uncle Ian! Aunt Kimberly!" Athena said out loud. She ran over to them and gave them a hug.

"Uncle Ian, Aunt Kimberly, This is Storm Dreyer. He's my mate." she introduced me. As soon as she my name and that I was her mate, their eyes turned dark. 'Oh crap. Not again.' I thought to myself. "Athena I think it's time to get your father." I whispered to her and she nodded and ran in the direction of her father.

Meanwhile they are both staring at me like they are both thinking of a thousand ways to kill me. Finally after a couple of minutes, Athena came with her father and mother. "What is going on here? What are you guys doing?" he asked. "You let a Dreyer come into this house?" Ian hissed at Alpha Jacob. "Ian, I already went through this with him. He's okay."

"Are you sure?" Kimberly asked and he nodded. Ian and Kimberly pulled back their glares and slightly went back to normal. After they went back to normal, I suddenly remember that I still have to tell Alpha Jacob about me being a prince. 'Athena we have to tell your dad about me.' I said through mind link to Athena. 'If you tell him, then you have to tell my aunt and uncle too.' she responded back.

I took a deep breath and looked at Alpha Jacob. "Um Mr. King, Athena and I actually need to speak to you and your family about something extremely important before I become part of the pack." I said with a serious look. He nodded at me and signalled all of us except the teenagers to follow him. 'This is it. Everyone is going to know the truth.'
